CHICAGO, Dee. 15. The Inter Ocean says: It was the gossip on wheat laat night that a number of local bulls had grown tired and taken their losses, John Cudahy being among them. He went out on over 600. 000 bushels wheat, aa he is closing up hia trades preparatory to going to California.

He also covered hia provision trades. Sentiment last night waa more bearish on wheat and tbe short interest showed considerable Increase. Traders say that with favorable Argentine news it will take a lot of new buying to hold prices at or above the present level. It Is said that Lanyon. the St.

Louis trader, la long S.OOO.OOO buahels wheat here. It waa quite freely remarked that Tem-pleton waa getting a profit out of buying cash wheat from Llcbtatern at lc under December and selling it for December in the pit and delivering the cash wheat In the afternoon. In tbe past two days he la credited with delivering buahels on December trades. Gossip among the corn specialists had it that a majority of the pit traders were bullish and long. Cash people said that tbe demand was slack and tbey had more inquiries for bids from country shippers.

One of the largest of the pit traders figured out lsst night where 1.600.000 bushels December had been unloaded the past few days by local longs who did not want the cash stuff. January was 2e under December yesterday, which they say la not a healthy condition at this time of month. I XjIVESTOCK market. I CHICAGO, Dee. 15.
