Fitting tribute was paid the departed, and his words did much to strengthen Elkdom.

MONDAY, DECEMBER 6, 1909 NEW BOROUGH MAP NEEDED Council meets tonight, in regular monthly session, and important matters will come up for consideration.

We suggest the making of a borough map, and as this is a piece of work that can best be handled by an engineer during the winter months, before the rush of spring and summer surveying, it should receive immediate attention. The present map, made by the late Isaac Kembel, C. does not include the recent addition to the Borough. An up to date map is a real necessity, and Mr. Robertson should be started on the work just as soon as possible.

THREE GOOD ONES AT MAJESTIC TONIGHT "Consul Crosses the the Great," the human ape, of marvelously manlike tastes and actions, came to this country on the huge steamship George Washington, very recently. Since his arrival he has been continually busy building his already world-wide reputation as an entertainer. He does mirth-provoking stunts. "Baby Swallows a baby swallowed a nickel! Send for a doctor, quick!" There is nothing that so upsets the peaceful routine of happy domesticity as when some accident befalls baby. In this case, however, the trouble was all for nothing.
