The Worry Italian Snub For Russians ROME Italy slapped Soviet Russia's diplomatic face Friday by barring Mikhail Suslov, power? ful secretary of the Russian Communist party's Central Committee, from attending the 8th congress of the Italian Reds. A Foreign Office spokesman confirmed the cancellation of Siis- loy's visa, a step he said Was taken in the interest of "public order." Suslov, one of the more powerful men in the Soviet Union and the Kremlin's expert on relations with Communist parties abroad, was to have headed the Russfan delegation to the Italian congress opening here tomorrow; Anti Russian feeling has run high in Italy since the Sovfet crackdown on the Hungarian Communist strength- -in some factory union has fallen 30 per cent.

The hardening Italian policy has reflected "the national mood. Dream of Heaven By Dr. George W. Crane Before our marriage, Mrs Crane' and I were both officers in the Young People's society at the Wayne Street church in Ft, Wayne, Indiana. Dr.

John Porter was the beloved pastor of the church and he had a wonderful wife. In fact, they were as devout and devoted Christian couple as I have ever met. A number of years later Dr. Porter died. His wife still remained active in the church 1 and was especially interested in the i school youth.

But she was a Dr. Crane victim of pernicious anemia and finally drifted off into a coma that lasted for several days. The physicians held out no hope for her recovery, for she was elderly and apparently worn out from a busy consecrated life. But she didn't die. She recovered.

Later Mrs. Crane and I were visiting with her, and she told us of what she had seen during her coma. well as some of my grown dreh. "It was a unique experience. I felt exhilarated, for it seemed not more than a second of time since I was standing, in Heaven pleading with the Lord, and now I was back on Earth.

It was so real I could hardly believe it had been a dream. How do you psychologists explain it?" Let me cite another case from Ft. Wayne, Ind. It deals with a boy about 12 years old, who had a brain tumor that was inoperable. He was lingering for about a and his parents could hardly become reconciled to the inevitable outcome.

For he had been an unusually good boy, conscientious and unselfish. In fact, his parents both wondered at his precocious understanding of spiritual matters, and his 'uncomplaining nature. Toward the end, however, he realized that he was soon to leave them, so he tried to reassure them. "Don't you worry," he com forted his mother as he squeezed her hand, "for I am very happy and shall soon see you in Heaven." Water Resources Board Gives Report TOPEKA Kansas Water Resources Board Friday said progress is being made, in compiling! available data on water, soil and climate in Kansas and developing a basis in eachr area of the state. These are the responsibilities'of the board as charged byithe-1955 Legislature, the board said in reports prepared for the 1957 Legislature.

The board said a comprehensive plan for water resources development in each area of the state will provide guidance for administrative policies, legislation, coordination of effort and research activities. too. Irma Martin, daughter of Mrs.Jsas Leah Martin of Sunrise commun- "I dreamed I was in Heaven," Mrs. Porter informed us.

"And the Lord was inviting me to stay there. I wanted to do so, yet I felt I shouldn't. For I remembered my teenagers who were depending on me to help them through their next few months of Sunday evening meetings. Some of them were young folks, inexperienced in leading meetings, so they relied upon me for assistance. 'So I begged the Lord to let me come back to Earth until I could complete my work with those young folks who needed me; "And the Lord said I could return.
