He was seventy years old. Is survived by a sister, Mrs. Samuel Barnhart, this place; and Ellis Sheetz, Lower Chanceford township. The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon. Services will be held in Chanceford Presbyterian church at 2 o'clock.

Interment will be made in the cemetery adpolnlng the church. The de-ceased was well known in York city and county. "The Girl He Couldn't Buy" a comedy drama by Sumner Nichols was the attraction at the Red Lion Opera House, tonight. The play which was the first for the season was a good one and the performance was attended by several hundred persons. Music was furnished by Smith's orchestra.
