12, 1934, in DeWitt County, daughter of Virgil K. and Oleta Faye Myers Hoge. She married Lowell Hargan on April 12, 1963. He passed away July 12, 1994. Surviving are one sister, Joan (Bob) Sessions, Clinton; and nephews and niece, Dwayne (Mindy) Sessions, Clinton; Kurt (Renee) Sessions Drums, and Martina (Tim) McShane, Bloomington.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Dorothy Hoge. She had been employed by Henson -Robinson Insurance Agency, Springfield. She was an avid reader. Wednesday (March 2, 2011) at his home. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Delavan United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be at 1 11 a.m. Sat- Russell urday, also Jeckel at the church.

The Rev. Larry Moreau will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Delavan American Legion Post. At his request, cremation has been accord- ed. Memorial contributions may be made to Hopedale Medical Foundation or Delavan United Methodist Church.

Davis Mortuary, Delavan, is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 15, 1926, in Boynton Township, the son of John and Reka Hellman Jeckel. He married Mary Myrth Wallace on June 4, 1949, in Urbana. Survivors include his wife of 61 years; three sons, Lawrence (Nancy) Jeckel, Champaign; John (Mary) Jeckel, Normal; and Scott (Ravonda) Jeckel, Delavan; two daughters, Diane (Jim) Kiely, Overland Park, and Patty (John) Kelley, Beaver Falls, 11 grandchildren, Ben, Adam, Chris, Stuart, Reka and Prescott Jeckel; Jenny Britt; Christie Kiely; and Jack, Dan and Kate Kelley; one great -grandson, Tate Jeckel; and one sister, Marge (Ken) Engelman, Madison, Wis. He was preceded in death by one grandson, MacArthur Jeckel.

Russ was a Navy veteran of World War II. He served aboard the USS Pensacola in the South Pacific and in the occupation of Japan. Following the service, he attended and graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in vocational agricultural. He was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho, Rotary International for 59 years, Delavan American Legion Post 382 and a lifelong member of Delavan United Methodist Church. Russ farmed in rural Delavan from 1950 until his death.

He enjoyed working with stained glass and sharing many of his pieces with family and friends. Traveling, University of Illinois sports and spending time at the family cabin on Deer Lake in northern Minnesota were high points in his life.

Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. She was born Sept. 30, 1960, at Bloomington, daughter of Frank L. and Barbara I. Wick DeVault.

She married Ricky Jenkins on Sept. 16, 1989, at Bloomington. He survives. Also surviving are her parents, Frank and Barbara DeVault, Bloomington; her children, Corey Daniel Jenkins, Normal, and Jason Jenkins, Butler; and her brother, Eric DeVault, Sunnyvale, Calif. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, one brother and one infant sister.

Janice attended Calvary Baptist Church in Normal. She was a 1977 graduate of Normal Community High School. Janice enjoyed interior designing, crafts, traveling, walking and being around and caring for children. She was a true believer in the organ donation programs that helped her family in their difficult times. Through the years her trust and faith in Jesus Christ helped her through her tribulations and illness.

One of her favorite verses was John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." Miles BLOOMINGTON Wayne Phillip Miles, 82, Chenoa, formerly Bloomington, passed away at 2:35 p.m. Wednesday (March 2, 2011) at OSF St.

28, 1928, in Stanton, the son of Phillip and Dorothy L. Sharp Miles. He married Sharon L. Potts in Michigan. She passed away Nov.

27, 1994. Surviving are seven children, Jim (Sandra) Miles, Lansing, Becky Hill, Riverdale, Brenda Johnson, Mount Pleasant, Rochelle (Pat) McGinnis, Lexington; Michael (Kari) Miles, Bloomington; and Rodney (Jamie) Miles and Darwin (Dawn) Miles, both of Normal; son-in-law, Russ Jepsen, Lexington; 18 grandchildren, Alicia Irving; Amanda Wrath; Bobby Hill; Jason Johnson; Renee and Ryan Leonard; Loren (Missy), Kayleigh, Addison Jepsen; Macie McGinnis; Colton, Rylee, Zoey Miles; Jersey, Braxton and Kayhl Miles; and Reagen and Presley Miles; and five greatgrandchildren. Wayne had three brothers and seven sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Raymond; and a granddaughter, Whitney. Wayne was retired.

He had served in the Korean War in the U.S. Army, where he obtained the rank of corporal. Online condolences may be e-mailed at www.calvert Mildred Morgan BLOOMINGTON Mildred Lavern Peard Wellman Morgan, 97, formerly of Bloomington, died Monday (Feb. 28, 2011) in Boulder, Colo.

Mildred Millie" Morgan was born May 20, 1913, in Wyoming, Mildred Mildred daugh- Morgan ter of Ralph and Ethel Peard. She grew up in Normal. After she graduated from University High School, she worked for several years for State Farm Insurance in Bloomington, until she married Frederic G. Wellman (Normal HS) i in 1937 and they moved to Oak Park in 1938. Mildred and Fred had a storybook marriage that was filled with a loving family, great friends and lots of trips.

They enjoyed the big city for 25 years but eventually returned to their hometown, Bloomington, with the Illinois Agriculture Association in 1961. Millie volunteered for First Christian Church, Red Cross, Brokaw Hospital and Meals on Wheels. They were married for 40 years. Fred died much too early in 1977 at the age of 64. She married Clint Morgan in 1981.

He developed a large garden in their backyard and she enjoyed processing the harvest for many years. Millie and Clint lived in Bloomington until 2005 when they moved to Boulder, to be near her son and his family. Clint also had a daughter, two grandchildren and six great -grandchildren living in Boulder. They were married for 24 years. Clint died in 2006 at the age of 97.

Millie spent the last few years at Frasier Meadows where she loved her new home, rides in the mountains and around town. It's a shame she never wrote her autobiography as she lived the American dream. She will always be remembered for her positive outlook, cheery demeanor and her sparkling sense of humor. She was a wonderful, charismatic and loving mother. She is survived by her two sons, Phillip Kenneth (Grace) Wellman, Virginia Beach, and David Harvey (Bev) Wellman, Boulder, three grandchildren, Jennifer (Alexis) Stobbe, Oxford, Chad Wellman, Gunnison, and Kira (Jess) Baldwin, Aurora, and three great -grandchildren, Lila Stobbe, Oxford, and Jace Baldwin and Tyce Baldwin of Aurora, Colo.

18, 1913, in Beason, daughter of Benjamin Oney and Louetta Gibson Cox. She married Delbert Lawrence Pilant in April of 1930. He preceded her in death on Nov. 5, 1978. She was also preceded in death by her parents and 10 siblings.

Surviving are one daughter, Susan (Merle) Rose, Zionsville, and one son, John (Linda) Pilant, Bloomington. Also surviving are seven grandchildren; four great -grandchildren; two great -great -grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Helena retired at age 62 as the manager of the appliance department at Clay Dooley's in Bloomington. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Normal and was a former member of ABWA (American Business Women's Association) and McLean County Home Bureau Association. Helena truly enjoyed life.

She liked gardening, cooking and collecting antiques. Most of all, she loved people, especially children. She defined her life by her personal interactions and took great pleasure in giving, helping and contributing to the happiness of others. She could strike up conversation with the strangers sitting next to her, as if she had known them her entire life. She made close and enduring friendships with neighbors, customers, renters and college students.

A service to celebrate the life of Anny Tyson will be at 11 a.m. March 19 at Cedar Ridge Baptist Church, 742 Buttermilk Spring Road, Galena, MO 65656. Arrangements are under the direction of Stumpff Funer- al Home- South, Kimberling City, Mo. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Cedar Ridge Baptist Church. She was born June 22, 1943, in Kewanee, daughter of Joseph and Margaret Leitch Bohrer.

Ann was united in marriage to Lyle Tyson on Dec. 12, 1975, and they had made their home in the Galena, area the past 20 years, coming from Central Illinois. She grew up in Bloomington and attended Bloomington High School. Ann graduated from Lincoln College in Lincoln. She retired from Geotechincal Engineering Services in Kappa, as an executive assistant.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her children, Kent (Vicki) Tyson, Keith Tyson, Todd (Debbie) Tyson, Tracey Tyson and Tyler (Joyce) Tyson; sisters, Judy Norton and Ruthann Mayberry; brothers, Dick Graham and Don Graham; six grandchildren; six great -grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Young, 87, Bloomington, died at 1:05 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 27, 2011) at Heritage Manor, Bloomington. A graveside service will be at a later date at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington, with the Rev. Knight Wells officiating.

Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be made to CISAR's No-Kill Animal Shelter. She was born Aug. 31, 1923, at Grand Rapids, daughter of Albin W. and Frieda Nelson Dahlberg.

Surviving are cousins, Jane Bower, Normal; Ann Calhoun, Miami, Richard Dahlberg, Peoria, Lois Peterson and Margarite Jensen, both of Rockford; and many other cousins. Her parents preceded her in death. While living in Normal, Eileen attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomington. Eileen loved to travel and was an avid bridge player and cat lover.

5, 1935, in Fairbury, the son of Eugene and Mildred Billingsley Zimmerman. He married Norma Jean Kilgus on June 15, 1958, in Morton. She survives. Other survivors include four children, Gregg (Francie) Zimmerman, Bloomington; Lori Scott, Bloomington; Rebecca (Robert) Leon, Hoover, and John (Leah) Zimmerman, Washington, D.C.; eight grandchildren, Joey (Taylor), Kate, Nick and Emily Zimmerman; Sarah and Eric Leon; and Tyler and Connor Zimmerman; two brothers, Gerald Zimmerman, River Forest, and Rodney Zimmerman, Tampa, and one sister, Nancy (Steve) Orchard, Bettendorf, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Gail.

Roger was a graduate of Illinois State University. He worked for the Department of Public Aid for 34 years, 25 as an administrator for McLean County. He was a past president of the Illinois Association of Public Welfare Administrators and a member of the Illinois Welfare Association. Roger served six years in the Illinois National Guard. He was also a member of the National Rifle Association.

Roger was an avid reader and lifelong learner. He enjoyed playing the guitar, riding motorcycle and writing poetry, along with his main passion, "playing the antiques game." He traveled with Norma through 46 states, Canada and Mexico.
