1 The Pantagraph Wednesday, Mistress breaks silence ASSOCIATED PRESS LONDON Arnold Schwarzenegger' former housekeeper has spoken out about having a child with the ex- governor, saying her son only learned about a year ago who his father was. In an interview with U.K.'s Hello! magazine, Mildred Baena said her son Joseph's response to the news was: "Cool!" Schwarzenegger has split from his wife Maria Shriver amid revelations that he fathered 13-yearold Joseph with Baena, and the former housekeeper told the magazine out Tuesday she hopes the couple can "work things out" in time. Baena said she wasn't initially certain Schwarzenegger was the father but started to see a resemblance in her son as Joseph grew older. "It became more apparent as time went on," she said. She said Shriver also grew suspicious as whispers circulated in the household over the similarities between Joseph and her boss, finally asking "point blank" if the boy was Schwarzenegger's son.

Shriver was "so strong" when she learned the truth, Baena told the magazine. "She cried with me and told me to get off my knees," Baena said. "We held each other and I told her it wasn't Arnie's fault, that it takes Springsteen says Clemons' stroke 'serious' ASSOCIATED PRESS NEW YORK Bruce Springsteen says band mate Clarence Clemons' stroke was serious and he's going to need a lot of help to get back to his former self. The Boss commented Tuesday on his longtime friend and Street Band member on his website, Twitter and Facebook. It's the first time he's spoken since it was revealed Sunday that Clemons had suffered a stroke.

Springsteen calls the saxophonist a "beloved comrade" and described the stroke as He says: "Clarence will need much care and support to achieve his potential once again." Springsteen says Clemons is surrounded by wife Victoria, other family and friends, and thanked fans for their prayers and good thoughts. Clemons' family also thanked fans on Springsteen's site and urged fans to email their well wishes to notestoclarence Benefit glams up museum ASSOCIATED PRESS PARIS Paris' Louvre Museum, home to arguably one of the world's most dazzling art collections, got an extra dose of glamour as royalty, A-list guests and deep- pocketed philanthropists turned out for a charity benefit gala.
