The run will travel through rural communities, ending at Orr's at 5 p.m. for a meal, prizes and music. Relay results LINCOLN American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Logan County, which took place last month in Lincoln, attracted 380 participants who raised $79,886.

Numbers were released Peoria, in the Central Illinois Health Information Exchange. The hospitals include OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Blooming-ton, and OSF Saint James -John W. Albrecht Medical Center, Pontiac. She was a member of Central Christian Church and a former member of Ladies of the Moose in Champaign. Mrs. Carter loved her family dearly and appreciated her many friends. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Blooming -ton. The Mary King Rev. Camilla will officiate. Hempstead Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.

Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Calvert Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington, and one hour prior to the service Monday at the church. The family suggests memorials be made to Wesley Methodist Church, Habitat for Humanity of McLean County, Alzheimer's Association, Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community or a charity of the donor's choice. Danny was born Nov. 22, 1920, in Normal, the daughter of Benjamin A.

and Elizabeth Engle Dan-forth. After graduating from Bloomington High School, she attended Stephens College and graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1942. She married John "Jack" King of Madison, in Bloomington, on Nov. 18, 1943. Jack survives in Bloomington.

She is also survived by two children, Scott (Jennie) King and Karen (William) McConnell, both of Bloomington, and one grandson, Geoffrey R. King, Normal. From 1942 to 1946, Danny was employed in advertising in Chicago and other cities while Jack served in the Army. Before relocating to Bloomington in 1959, she and Jack lived in Madison where they formed many friendships that have endured for more than 65 years. A longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Danny taught Sunday school, was president of the United Methodist Women and served on the board of trustees.

Danny enjoyed playing bridge, swimming, reading and traveling with Jack. She was proud of her long involvement in Alpha Xi Delta, PEO Chapter CL and the Dozen Club. The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of the Meadows Mennonite Alzheimer's Unit for the professional, Dr. Syed Rizvi vascular Thoracic Surgery, which recently dissolved. Smith and VanLe are board certified in general and thoracic surgery.

Rizvi started with HeartCare Midwest nine months ago following completion of his fellowship in vascular surgery. He is board certified in vascular surgery. In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the Community Cancer Center. He was born July 3, 1956, in Bloomington, the son of John P. and Mary Ann Sapp Moore. Surviving are his girlfriend, Lori Rodman, Bloomington; a son, Michael Moore, Bloomington; two daughters, Stacey (Jim) Hassels and Laura (Steve) Laughlin, both of Huntley; his mother, Mary Ann Moore, Venice, six grandchildren, Victoria, Elizabeth and Brady Hassels and Jack, William and Anna Laughlin; and two brothers, Pat Moore and Mark Moore, both of Venice, Fla. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, James P.

Moore; and his stepfather, Ralph Gilliland. John will be missed by his family and many friends who will always remember him for his sense of humor and his love of the Green Bay Packers. George White BLOOMINGTON George "Jorge" White, 54, Bloomington, passed away at 3:20 p.m. (July 11, 2012) at Heartland Health Care Center, Normal. After George White slamming his '67 Buick Skylark convertible into drive while and it is his wish for all those who knew him to continue this practice in their own personal lives.

ELSEWHERE Margaret Carter JACKSONVILLE Margaret J. Carter, 92, Jacksonville, died Wednes day (July 11, 2012) at Passavant Area Hospital in His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Mon- Margaret Carter day at Williamson Funeral Home, Jacksonville. The family will meet friends one hour prior to the service Monday at the funeral home. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m.

Monday at Camp Butler National Cemetery, Springfield. Memorials are suggested to Central Christian Church or Doorbell Dinner. She was born July 7, 1920, in Piper City, the daughter of James A. and Inez M. Martin Mylcraine.

She married E. Howard Carter on April 8, 1939, in Thawville. He preceded her in death Oct. 2, 1999. She is survived by one daughter, Janice (Paul) Ninmer, Springfield; three grandchildren, Lori (Mark) Hopkins, Jacksonville; Ron (Jean) Ninmer, Taylorville; and Rick (Tammy) Ninmer, Colorado Springs, 10 great-grandchildren; one great -great -grandchild; one brother, Don (Gen) Mylcraine, Piper City; one niece; and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Sherrill, Ray and Lyle Mylcraine. Mrs. Carter was a graduate of Thawville High School. She was employed as a secretary for Commercial Art Co. in Elgin and later worked in banking at Land of Lin flays If Heartland Theatre Company 1 or American Heart Association.

She was born Nov. 20, 1973, in China, daughter of Mingfeng She and Liquin Huang. She came to Illinois State University in 2001 and earned her degree in 2004. She married Derrin Zimmerman in 2005. She is survived by her husband of East Peoria; and 6-year-old daughter, Christine, Mackinaw; her parents and two sisters, all in China.

George was born June 16, 1958, in Bloomington, the son of James and Clara Wooten White. He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Clara White; a sister, Gloria Nanngae; and a brother, Tom White.

He is survived by his brother, Jim (Patti) White, Deltona, and two sisters, Patty White, San Diego, and Sue (Curt) Zehr, Washington. George graduated from Bloomington High School and Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va. He worked in sales at Blager Concrete as director of marketing and client relations with Aaberg Claim Professionals and spent many years prior at State Farm Insurance Cos. George was a talented public speaker, a spiritual witness and a deep philosopher who could never quite resist a good prank. He was an automobile restoration enthusiast, a lover of music and a dabbler in carpentry.

Although George will be missed by all who knew him, he left his infectious "little-boy" spirit for us to cherish. His friends, young and old, will treasure the memories that were made as they traveled with George through his colorful adventures.
