A thriving little town situated In the heart of the finest tobacco section the world, about midway between Tur and Keusc Rivers. Is in I the tobacco bflt. 'About two years ago Creedmoor took a start to grow. I being then only a few stores and I railroad section, but several saw mill kept pulling lumber on side track here until Creedmoor caught the building fever. In the summer of 1904 we jnlartfl a tobacco market, opening with two good warehouses suid one bank, all starting business about the same time.

House after house went up during the year, contractors couldn't do the work putting up new houses as fast as the demand was. Every man that could use p. srw or hammer wan hired until within one year's time Creedmoor had grown four times as large us the next year, being last September, 1905. The tobacco market opened with four large warehouses and two banks and a'so a large three story steam plant for re-drylng tobacco to Fhlp to' foreign markets. The American Tobacco Company has a good factory here, Creedmoor was incorporated last frprlng by the last Legislature, and the citizens were surprised to wake up one morning to find themselves In town.

Almost every enterprise has come to us. Such as planing mills, brick plants. hogshead1 factory. and all kinds of mercantile business that any other town, enjoys we have something like it. Four saw mills are putting out lumber heye every day.

So you can readily ee we are not lacking in building material. The Jast enter-ni-ioe agitated horeftew is a tobacco factory to manufacture plug and smoking tobacco, which I am certain Creedmoor would be proUd of. A number of nice mercantile establishemtns have gone up within the last year and others are now in contemplation which will commence business in the early spring.

Arraneements and contracts are now being made for the erection of several first-class two-story brick blocks which will be erected during the coming A new bank Is how being organized here with a capital stock of, $1 6.000.00 and the Commercial Bank of this place is soon to be made a Natidnal Bank. When the new bank is opened will have three' nice banks la our town. 'J." fcJdgar Poag, the well known broker, of Rock Hill. and the same is doing much for the community in the real etsate Real estate Is advancing in price and some Important transfers have been made recently which will bs the beginning of a new life in our section. Tha South and Western Railway Is surveying a line of railroad through this section and the road will be built without' a doubt in the near future. The thriving condition of our graded school and the improvements which thetown has made in the way of lights, etc. in additon to the above. I think, very well enables me to say that, our -'little town of only 1.500 inhabitants Is moving along very nicely.
