Woodhouse holds numerous dash records at various meets around the country and he ran a leg on ACC's 880-yard relay learn (around three turns) that set a world's record in 1958 a record that still stands The quartet of Woodhouse James Segrcsl George Peterson and Morrow clicked off a 1:226 for the world mark in Modesto Calif May 31 1958 Although Woodhouse ran the opening leg off the blocks that Bloomington 111 by an Insurance firm he has been connected with since graduating from ACC In 1990 was asked what Is behind the booming progress bring made In track performances to which he replied: through most of his collegiate carrer but he holds the distinction of beating Morrow more than any other runner Little Rill (he stands only 5-8 and weighs 160) beat Morrow three of the eight times Morrow lost a race in his four-year collegiate career The Woodhouse-Morrow combination was the most feared in the collegiate ranks for three years (1957-59) In addition to setting the world record in the 880-yard relay' the two were instrumental in three of the five fastest 440-yard relays ever recorded in Texas 397 398 and 399 Woodhouse and his bride of eight months Mary Jo reside at 3625 Austin
