By BOB THOMAS AP Movte-Tetevtskm Writer HOLLYWOOD (AP) Most critics and many viewers consider the 1950s to have been television's Elizabethan era, when live television produced vital drama that hasn't been matched since. CBS is making what appears to be a brave attempt to bring back at least a semblance of that era. The network has con' traded for a series of special dramas for "CBS Playhouse," The first is a story of the Vietnam war, "The Final War of Oily Winter," which will appear Sunday. Lawrence Booth, and Rondol Lee Flowers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Murrell Flowers, of Carrollton, have been selected by the faculty of Carrollton High School as winners of the DAR Good Citizenship awards. Marjorle is a member of the National Honor Society, vice president of the senior class, president of the Spanish Club, and president of Student Librarians. She was a member of the senior play cast and a member of the homecoming queen's court.

Rondol also is a member of the National Honor Society, Captain of the band, president of the Young Scientists of America Club and has been active in the Industrial Arts Club. The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution which sponsors the awards, specifies that winning students should excel in the dependability, service, leadership and patriotism. The winners were nominated along with several others by the students and then selected by the faculty.
