Page Eight FOREST PARK REVIEW Thursday, April 28, 1960 Pony League Tag Day May 7 The annual Tag Day for the Forest Park Pony League and Colt League will be Saturday, May 7, with the boys in their baseball suits soliciting funds throughout the Village. The drive this year is of extra importance as the boys and their adult leaders are hoping to secure enough money to build an announcers booth, behind the backstop on the diamond used by the Pony Leaguers, Colt Leaguers, Connie Mack group, Recreation softball, and First Savings men and girls teams. The groups would all benefit by the efforts of the 13 to 10 year old youngsters drive. A house-to-house drive will be made from 4 to 6 p.m. by the boys, with an adult leader walking with them on their shift.

Persons missed are urged to mail checks to Forest Park Pony Organization, Postoffice, Forest Park, Ill. Due to their being only three entries in the fifth grade, and 14 in the fourth grade, the judges awarded five prizes in the fourth grade and only one in the fifth grade. 48 children entered eggs in the contest, the largest number since the Egg Tree idea was started four years ago.

The Kiwanis club has sponsored the contest each year. Coke Dance The Coke Dance, sponsored by the Scouts of Troop 100, will take place Saturday, 8 p.m., at Field gym. The event will be chaperoned by scout parents. All students are invited. Art Starenkovic, MC, has arranged an evening of fun for all.

Fishing fun on Spring-fed lakes with top professional casters on hand to assist, will be offered local anglers April 30 and May 1 at the Four Lakes Fishing and Recreation Area. Located on Maple 400 yards west of Route 53 at Lisle, this popular Ashing and recreation area is celebrating its first birthday with a gala twoday affair. There will be prizes, free talloons for the kids and a mammoth birthday cake served to visitors, -known professional anglers will give free casting and angling advice. The Four Lakes area consists of 40 acres of scenic spring-fed lakes surrounded by 35 acres of woods and grassland.
