JAR HOLDS SECRET! A ertamy cool deuert »hdf is wonderful for a summer meal. The iweet prune* cfre accented perfectly by tart red straw* berriet, both colorwise and flavor-wise. For an interesting effect/ make one large mold and a few small one*, using a few dark pruns and sliced strawberries for garnish. PRUNE WHIP WITH STRAWBERRY SAtJCE 1 envelope (1 tablespoon) plain gelatin i cup cold water 1 cup cooked, chopped prunes grated rind one lemon 2 tablespoons lemon juice 2 egg whites % cup sugar 1 cup whipping cream Fresh or frozen strawberries Soften gelatin in V* cup water and dissolve over hot water. Combine prunes with remaining water, lemon rind and juice, and mix in electric blender or force through sieve. Beat egg whites, gradually beating in sugar. Fold in dissolved gelatin, prune mixture.and whipped cream. Chill in 1-quart mold and four small molds. Serve with sweetened fresh or frozen strawberries. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
