Chris Entered In Canada Net (UPI) America's top- tennis pair, Jimmy Connors and Chris will make their first Canadian appearance, in the Canadian Championships Monday at the Toronto Lawn Tennis Club. Heading this season's money winning charts with more than $135,000 the soon to be married Wimbeldon champions have been named tournament favorites, but the Connors faces a much tougher route to the men's title. Not Connors' Favorite One of' the strongest clay court fields of the year has been assembled for the seven day tournament and thtt slower, clay-type surfaces are not Connors' favorite. Second seed in the mens singles, where $15,000 goes to the winner, is flying Dutchman Tom Okker, defending champion and runner-up in 1971.
