When it it comes to savings, there is no better way than using GAS. IS A HowM Net Price For a Customer Using 852 KWH During One Month, of Which 432 KWH Are Used for Water Heater (Water Heater Alone, no other electricty used, Would Be $4.67) Net Price For a Customer Using 2,000 Cubic Feet of Gas During One Month For Water Heater (Water Heater Alone — (If Other Gas Used in Conjunction, Rate lowers) HAVE A RATE It's Simple and Entirely Uncomplicated The so-called "Combination Rate" - when reduced to uncomplicated terms — simply means that when a user of any utility's product elects to operate a number of appliances on that utility's product, he.receive* a grec-ter over-all saving. In the case of the recently announced Electric Rate Schedule, to Ije eligible for any rate change the user of electricity must have an Electric Water Heater. Without an electric water heater, if appears that he cannot participate in a rate benefit. In the case of Natural Gas, as shown above, the differential in costs between 'electric and gas water heating is very marked in the greater saving Gas gives. If the user heats his house with gas also, hi$ wetter heater rate on a year-around basis can then still be lower. In fact, for a typical g«s user, who elects to combine gcs house heating with several gas appliances, his over-all gas rate can be very much lower than the same electricity usage.
