BUCHANAN, President Recognizing the need for adjustment in electric water heater rates, the members of the commission of your Algona Municipal Utilities have voted unanimously to adopt a new additional electric rate schedule, which will create substantial savings for all those residential users el igible. An entirely new and LOWER electric wdter heater rate will be in effect the day after meters are read this month. This rate, joined to the cost of operating other residential electric equipment, will bring to users a new "Combination Rate", which as shown on the actual monthly statement examples reproduced on this page, will afford a still greater saving in users' electric bills. Presented below is the new electric rate structure for your examination. Plainly stated, if you now use, or install, an electric water heater, your savings on ALL electrical costs will be very substantial.
