(INS) Secretary of State Stettinius announced today appointment of Dr. Isador Lubin, as American representative on the reparations commission which will meet in Moscow to draw up the bill of reparations to be imposed upon Germany. Lubin was formerly chief of the bureau of labor statistics in the department of labor, and has served during the war on the President's personal staff of advisers. Lubin returned to Washington late Tuesday from a six weeks economic mission to the liberated areas of western Europe.
