Staff College course held recently at Fort Ben-ning Ga Coffin was one of three area reserve officers to be selected to attend the special course which is intended to prepare qualified reserve and national guard officers for major staff posts in the event of war: Coffin said the course was extremely realistic in presentation and is designed to fit the Armys needs in the event of a future war Freehoff served in the Pacific Theater during World War as an Intelligence officer with the XXIV Army Corps He was also on duty with the 389th Infantry Regiment of the 98th Division Chetwood served with the 43rfi Coast Artillery Battalion in thfc Pacific Theater He was in the Army for five years entering as a private and leaving the service as a captain Pollard was on duty In the intelligence division of the War Department General Staff In Washington and also served as an intelligence officer in the European Theater Cleveland (NEA) To make a name for herself all Mrs Shaw had to do was just whistle What she whistled is being heard practically from coast to coast mainly because she was standing on a cold street comer one day and couldnt get a taxi Mrs Shaw couldnt whistle through her
