The little chap might not realize just what he was missing but it still seems hard ly fair Then the problem of soft drinks and ice cream cones A child could grow into adulthood with the bitter complaint to a psychiatrist that he hated his mother be cause she used to reject his pleas for hot weather refreshment with such cruel cries as: brat its only your imagination Its really quite cool the part of the human heritage Europe Steel In US at Low Prices It is difficult to the logic or justice in the Tariff unanimous ruling that United States steel producers are not being injured by imports of hot rolled wire rods from Belgium and Luxembourg The decision appears particularly unjusti fied in view of the Treasury Customs Bu finding that the rods were being in this country at prices under those prevailing in Belgium and Luxem bourg The commission did not deny but held that American companies being harmed This is absurd in the face of testimony presented to the commission The imported rods sold at $40 a ton under domestic prices accounting for 4Q per cent of the United States market It is quite obvious that the American companies squeezed as they are by high costs were hurt If the commission had decided for the companies it could have increased the tariff on the rods to bring the price in line with the home product But such protectionist action undoubtedly would have caused loud complaints from Etirope This is something the administration wants to avoid at this time The next LEAPfp '64 1 aaoiAMetiCw A IS uEfY MlKT 1 APPEAKKHm He mopp fS Adb a V1 i nn okkik i
