Piano Quartet in Final Community Concert Friday Philharmonic Piano Quartet will be heard here in concert, Friday evening, April 8, at 8.15, In the Senior High school auditorium, as the final presentation of this year by Nashua Community Concert association. This attractive and highly successful foursome is composed of gifted young America a artists, each a virtuoso in his or her own right.

They are Ada Kopetz, Bertha Melnik, John Scales and Max Walmer, who have played together throughout all of the United States and Canada. Critics everywhere have praised the especially composed and effective arrangements of music for four pianos and whetner it is Bach or boogie-woogie, the pianists are equally at home in the music, equally effective in their brilliant presentations. Musical arrangements of the quartet are made by Moritz Bombard, pre-war conductor of the Princeton University orchestra and Glee club, musical director of "Opera for Colleges" and composer of two symphonies, suite for strings, sonatas and score of a play. Touring problems of the group are solved by Steinway furnishing the four instruments which are taken from city to city where the quartet appears. The four pianists represent all parts of the country.

Ada Kopetz was born in New York city and graduated from Juilliard, where she studied piano under James Friskin. She also worked under Edouard Steuermann in SAVING Santa Monica, Calif. Read Mark The exile on Patmos looked into the future and saw, not only a new earth, but a new heaven.

This is often overlooked in our reading. But it is tremendously important to true Christian understanding. Before the new eanh can come, old heavens must pass away That is, the false ''hopes, thp romantic ideals, the sentimental daydreams of this world must and our Jiope be firmly grounded in the realities of God. We entertain a thousand little hopes. One by one they betray us and leave us in disillusionment.

It will always be so with the tinsel heavens of our own making. "The wordly hope men set their hearts upon Turns ashes, and anon, Like snow upon the desert's dusty face, Lighting a little hour or two, is gone." But Christ brings a new heaven, the hope that belongs to those who through faith accept tha gift of God's own future. Christian optimism is both realistic and radiant. Let US Pray i Discipline Lord, in the way of the cross, until we learn to build our hope on nothing less than Christ In whose name we ask it.
