Control Program Ninety Percent Majority Marked Up Quotas Favored By LeFlore County Growers Virtually complete returns from tbs cotton marketing referendum held Saturday In 10 southern and far-western states gave B03059 for quotas and 79938 against The favorable margin of 90 percent compares with 66T percent required by the crop control law and 54 percent marked up tax a referendum a year ago Official count of votes of cotton farmers in LeFlore County on continuing crop control tax 1940 showed 1533 cotton growers had cast their ballots The county returns Showed 11M votes for the program 18-day period the city ordinance which makes it unlawful to shoot firecracker within the city limits The proclamation does not however suspend the provision which reads that fireworks must not be shot
