In the Art Fxhibit in the main building at Ii r. Monday, more than two hundred paintings by the Art students were on exhibition. The concert at r. Monthly, was one of the best music concerts ever given by a college. Music has quite a prominent place in the curicultiin of Lin-wood and this concert was a high testimonial of the excellent woik done in this department.

The iraduating exercises were held Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock. Trinity's Alumni Dinner. The Trinity College Alumni Association will hold its annual dinner Tuesday, June 5, at one o'clock in the college banquet hall. The patronage and the appreciation of these dinners has been steadily growing from year to year until now it is one of the most important features of commencement and is generally enjoyed by all who participate. This ear the principal address to be delivered at the dinner will be by Dr. Bruce Payne, of Charlottesville, Va.

Other visiting alumni will respond to toasts. The capacity of the hall is quite limited and no reservation of a plate can be guaranteed unless the Chairman of the Executive Committee be notified on or before Saturday, June 2. All graduates and former students of Trinity College are urged to be present and to notify at once the Chairman of the Executive Committee, Prof. C. W.

C. Galloway, of Gastonia, President Lindsay referred to him as the Medal Orator. Those who know Dr. Galloway and those who heard him on this occasion are fully convinced that he is an orator on all occasions where a speech is required. The first honor (gold) medal was awarded to Mamie Byrd, the second honor (gold) medal was awarded to Miss Martha Simonton, with Misses Mamie Whitesides, Mattie Tolbert, and Kva Wylie receiving special mention.

Dr. Galloway announced that less than one number separated the marks of the five young ladies so close was the contest for the honors. The medal in the Ivxpression Department was awarded to Miss Alice Clement, the art medal to Miss Mattie Abernethy. The music medals were awarded to Miss Ethel Wilson in Miss Wallace's department and to Miss Mary Kennedy in Miss McFadyen's department. The following compose the honor roll for the vear: Roll A.
