FRIDAT, APRIL 80, 1M4 fARK.y OOURIER NEWS PAOt Motorola'* budget Motorola s 1954 TV Line Puts Stress on 'Design on a Budget' The styling "accent piece" of*. Motrola's 1954 line of television cabinets is a model which was specifically designed to give the consumer good design on a budget. A consolette fashioned of straight grained birch in a natural finish on a wrought iron fashion note to contemporary surroundings. Yet its simplified design makes it possible to meet a further requirment of Contemporary living —low cost. The price of th« Beverly compares with that of any wood tattle model. Motorola's stylists embraced the current trend toward combining wrought iron with wood in furniture in this unusual piece. Wrought iron was, in fact, first brought into the TV pictures last year by Motorola with the introduction of a black wrought iron stand which was shown with an ebony plastic table model. This popular combination still is being featured in the new line. The Beverly, with its low silhouette and clean lines, is scaled to the contemporary feeling for sectional furniture. It may be used without the stand in any sort of cabinet grouping or other arrangement with similar types of modern sectional furniture. The 21-inch screen features new engineering advances which have added improvements to picture clarity and contrast. Dimensions of the set are 25 inches wide, 22% inches high (or 37 inches High with the stand) and 22 % inches deep. If you discover your car is running out of gasoline and the nearest service station is miles away, it is best to drive slowly at the car's most efficient speed and travel as far as possible.
