From Mr. George Yeatcr, who crnne up from the Indian Territory yesterday, a DRMOCitiT reporter learned the particulars of a revolting murder committed a few miles from Atokft, Creek Nation, in the latter part of last week. A white man by the name of Flynn, having a wife and one child, had been in the Nation for some time, and Icarninc that he was about to be ordereJ out as an trader, took time by the forelock, and started off with his wife, who carried her months old child, on foot.

They left with tbe avowed intention of goiug to Coffeyvllle, Kansas, where his wife's father, a nwu by tbe name of "Hog" Mays, resided. The man accompanied his wife ou the road as far as the house of a thorough-bred Indian, vUo could not speak English, and there left her. Oa the day following the woman was found lying in the road, some distance from the Imhan's bouse, with the buck of her head crashed in. There are a number ol theories as to who committed the murder, one of which is that it was the husband of the woman, and the father of the child. is thought bv soiuti that he left his wife at the Indian's house, knowing she would not remain, and would start on her way to Coffyvlllo, where he intercepted her and committed the double murder. The following circular, isued by the chief of the Secret Service dhij-ion of the Treasury Department, May 8th, 1878, was received yesterday by the Citizen's National Bank of this city: One of the most dangerous counterfeit notes ever printed has made its appearance in several States West. It purports to be the issue of the Merchants 1 National Bank of New Bedford, Massachusetts, of tlif denomination of one hundred dollars, Letter February 14, 18115.

TUe points of difference, so Yar detected between the genuine and counterfeit, are 1st. The stem of the letter in the name of S. B. Colb, in the genuine note reaches down over the first letter s. in the abbreviated word in the counterfeit it reaches over the letter in the same word.

2i. Tbe stem of the tet- ter tn the signature of Spinner, in tlie genuine reaches, down below the top of the letter in the abbreviated word while in tne counterfeit it does not reach to within one-sixteenth part of an Iiieh of that letter. 3d, The oi many of the seated figures in the scene of the Declaration of Independence, on the hack of the note, have the appearance of black dots in the counterfeit. The signatures of tresiUent and Cashier in the counterfeit are printed. The general workmaui.hip of the note is excellent, but the paper appears to have been glycer- ioed and somewhat stained.

As it is probable other counterfeits of the same denomination will appear on Massachusetts banks, it will be well to keep foregoing teits in mind. As the plates from which were printed the counterfeit notes on the Central National Bank of the City of New York have been changed several times already, and probably will have several other changes" rung upon them, it will be well to bear in mind that the surest for their detection is found iu the fact, that wherever the name L. E. Chittenden appears as Kegi-ter of the Treasury, and the face of the note bears on its upper left-hand corner the words "Printed at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. U.

S. Treasury Department," such a note is a counterfeit. A Tianqnll System. Can never be possessed by those whose digestive and assimilative organs are in a state of chronic disorder. Weak stomachs make weak nerves.
