Lugo, who said the marijuana was found by him, was jailed here but Go- moz was jailed at Indio and will be prosecuted there. The officers found Lugo and Gomez in possession of three cans marijuana or marijuana seeds. Inspectors Harry Perry and A. V. Beckner, state narcotics officers, assisted in the investigation, vvhich included stakeouts by police of Santa Ana, Anaheim and Fullerton.

Mrs. Clara Mae Holliday, 62, of Garden Grove Rt. 1, box 159, died at Orange county hospital Saturday following an extended illness. Born in Climax, she had resided in the Garden Grove district for the past nine years. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Roy Holliday; two daughters, Mrs.

Florence Paise of Garden Grove, and Mrs. William Lamb of Huntington Beach, and one son, Lee Holliday, of Garden Grove. Announcement of funeral services will be made later by Brown and Wagner Colonial chapel. Mrs. C.

R. Ball Dies at Her Home A. Mrs. Carrie R. Ball, 71, of Bolsa, passed away at her home yesterday as the result of a heart attack.

She had been a resident of the Bolsa district for the past 28 years. She was born in Ohio. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p. m. at the Smith and Tuthill chapel, with the Rev.

Richardson of Anaheim officiating. Interment will be in Westminster Memorial park. Survivors are four sons, M. W. and J.

J. Ball of Santa Ana, W. Ball of San Jose and Donald D. Ball of Los Angeles, and three daughters, Mrs. Marie Bachman of Santa Ana, Mrs.

Edith Lee of Long Beach and Mrs. Nelda Hamlyn of Laguna Beach.
