Lyn, Jonathan and Liza are at her feet. Mrs. Mann has given birth to two pairs of twins in the past four years. The possibility of this 1 e- is thought to be inherited in families who have twins in every generation, instead of the more common: twins every third generation, she was told at Children's Hospital. Yves Saint Laurent's Bride In The White Flannel Suit By LUCIE NOEL PARIS (AP) Laughter and applause echoed through Yves Saint Laurent's packed salons today as a bride wearing a classic white flannel tailored suit, a white felt brimmed-and-nose veiled hat and carrying a small bouquet of white roses stepped forth.

This was the last show of the Paris fashion week, and its climax. The prank Yves played on his audience reversed his usual bridal technique, where a sheaf of tropical tiora or an exotic fantasy disposes of St. Laurent bridal clothes. This spring he tells a well planned story with long coats, new prints, new pants and lovely fabrics. His collection does many things for many people.

There is a Spanish Basque influence- complete with certain bolero pants suits, with their bright red, purple or green swathed belts. For daytime his boleros are plaid edged in tache. As the day wears on, he embroiders them aJl over in tache, and for evening they are shown in all gold sequins. There are nautical overtones in certain pants suits, as a king-size sailor collar. The young designer who first put women of the Western Hemisphere into pants continues to do so.

They are cut wide but cuffed and fall within barely an inch from the floor, covering the shoe. There are masses of pants suits worn with tunics, or soft crepe shirts or blouses with soft petal collars and long sleeves flounced similarly at the wrist. Some are surplice necked and flounced. St. Laurent features them throughout, with wide crepe pants, often pleated or with suits and even for evening.

Yves has a big coat story. Again hemlines are dropped to ankle length or low calf-length. The coats are traditionally lored. all double-breasted with wide notched lapels, and occasional gold button trim. Many of them are sashed like bath robes, and they form the intrinsic part of the ensemble in men- swear worsteds, jersey, and soft black vinyl.

There's lots of black in his collection, more than anywhere in Paris. The story for spring prints is told in terms of the painter sarely's small set geometries and linoleum patterns. There are dozens of them in strange ternal twin girls, and their older brother Jonathan. 51 Ti new babies, Dorn Jan, 1. are named Victoria and Jason.

second time around with twins is promises Mrs. Mann. 1 was expecting my first twins, everybody tried to talk me into getting a nurse, but I was sure I could manage. The first night home from the hospital our son was up all night with the flu and the babies were up all night too! The next day we hired a nurse, but she could only come during the day. you know anybody who is going to have twins, please go and help Mrs.

Mann says. HELPING MAKE order out of possible chaos is an English State Registered Nurse, Valerie Holden, who fs also a State Certified i i in England. These midwives routinely deliver babies in English hospitals, freeing doctors to handle more difficult births. Valerie has delivered five sets of twins herself. She will stay with the Manns in their hilltop house in Tiburon until April, when she plans to return to England Prepared formula and disposable nursers simplify feedings.

The month-old twins sleep from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. They weighed at birth a healthy 7 lbs. 14 oz. for Jason and 6 lbs.

74 oz. for Victoria. Explaining being with twins, Mrs. Mann says, only know what has been told me about fraternal twins being an inherited While she was in labor at Children's Hospital, a pediatrician stopped by to discuss the fact that Mrs. Mann was about to have her second set of twins, referred to as The pediatrician said it is thought that occurs in mothers from families who have twins in every generation, instead of the more common every third Mrs.

mother and her grandmother both gave birth to 1 muted browns, beige, reds and tans. Another favorite is the bordered necktie print used profusely in long straight middy tops over matching pleated or wide pants. They were applauded every time. Long scarves, many a deliberate non-match in a similar print went with the model, trailing down the back or front. Another silhouette, kind of Alice in Wonderland is the long torso with the skirt composed of two flounced tiers.

St. Laurent shows it in many different fabrics including paved silver or gold sequins reembroidered to add interest. One thing is clear: midcalf is popular for hemlines although there is a strong mini-skirt hangover. fraternal twins, which are the result of two fertilized eggs. Identical twins result from one fertilized egg which separates.

THE DEMANDS on her time and energy coping with five small children are balanced by the delights of having the twins, Mrs. a says cheerfully. days are no problem this house. We don't ever have to entertain the children, they love to play We told Lyn and Liza, we had the new twins because this is such a good neighborhood for twins. Two of their neighbors, the Arthur Woodwards and the Hal Schwartzes have twin boys.

thing I have enjoyed the most about having two sets of twins is people's reactions when I tell them," laughs Mrs. Mann. One friend noted the twins birth date was January 1. 1970 He said, look pretty happy for just having lost $1200 in tax YOU are expecting twins, you have to get lots of names ready: names for two boys, names for two girls and names for a boy and a says the busy mother.
