The Dolph Remys, Verda Williamson, the George Nungesters and the Stanley Stouts donated paving brick and brick for a new chimney. Thanks to Herbie Wellington for offering to do cement work. Teddy Bickers will be hauling away the trash we really appreciate that.

Greg Groves will handle the clean-up around the building, moving the old tin out of the way. Thanks to the for keeping the grass down. Thanks to Tim Triance, David Hinkle, Bill Hines, Larry Toole, Rodger Southward, Kevin Reid, Guy Cline, Bob Hines and Glen Cline for working on the roof and insulating under the building. A big thanks to Smith Dodson Lumber Co. for donating interior paint and the paint for the station restoration sign. We would especially like to thank all of the community groups, individuals and businesses that have donated money for this community project. The restoration fund is being handled by the Community Club, c-o Bill Welsh, Treasurer. We could certainly use more money to buy new doors and other items.

When they were tearing off the old tin roof, Rodger Southward accidentally dropped his tin snips. They fell between the roof slats into an attic space. He found the tin snips and a number of other things. There was an old coal bucket, a railroad lantern, a railroad flag, Scioto Valley Railway excursion tickets, bills, and papers, all from the a whiskey bottle, a Hosner beer bottle, a inason jar dated 1858, old shoes, straps and other assorted things. Starting this week, we will have a work night every Thursday, after 6:30 p.m.

The landmark intern program is designed to teach students the principles of a cooperative while gaining practical experience in one or more operational areas of a landmark cooperative or manufacturing facility. Interns also receive college credit for their work.

Cincinnati Man Faces Charges COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) A Cincinnati man arrested during the club- swinging, Fourth of July Ku Klux Klan rally on the Statehouse steps was bound over to Franklin County Common Pleas Court Tuesday on two felony charges. George Preston, 29, appeared before Franklin County Municipal Court Judge Sidney Golden on charges of inciting to violence and felonious assault.

No trial date was set. In binding Preston over to the higher court, Judge Golden continued to allow him his freedom on a personal recognizance bond. Preston also pleaded innocent to a misdemeanor charge of disrupting a lawful meeting and requested a jury trial in municipal court. Howard (Bud) Allison of the South Bloomfield Methodist Church charge has been appointed as the pastor of the Methodist Church in Manchester, Ohio, which is located near the Ohio River. This Sunday will be the last time for the Rev. Allison to preach at South Bloomfield. He will be in the pulpit at Manchester for the first time on July 24 and the family will be moving to their new home on July 26.
