m. Friday in Schenectady, N. at the home of his brother, Dr. James K. Pollock.

He was 73. A son of Robert and Ella King Pollock, he was born Oct. 3, 1877, in Center Township. He was a member of the Lisbon Presbyterian Church, an inactive elder and belonged to the Men's Bible Class Mr. Pollock was graduated from Wooster College and had a long teaching career, including three years at Bowling Green High School, six years in the state of Washington, two years in Ashtabula County and 15 years in the Columbiana County rural system, including three at Hanoverton High School.

He was teaching at Furnace School in Center Township when he retired in 1938. Mr. Pollock in recent years spent his summers in Lisbon and winters in Florida. Besides his brother, he is survived by two sisters, Miss Laura Pollock of Ashtabula, and Mrs. Olive Summers of East Rochester.

Services will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at the Eells-Leggett Funeral Home by Rev. Paul T. Gerrard.

Burial will be in Lisbon Cemetery. Friends may call Monday afternoon and night at the funeral home. and Rosary Society. She leaves another daughter, Mrs. Ann M.

Satow of Parma; Mrs. Ann M. Satow of Parma; three sons, J. Charles Welsh of Toronto, George E. Welsh of Wellsville, and William Welsh of Alliance; four brothers, Peter Patterson of Detroit, and George B.

Patterson, Henry Patterson and James Patterson of Wellsville, and 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Myers Funeral Home in Alliance tonight from 7 to 9 and at the McLean Funeral Home in Wellsville a afternoon and night, where friends may csftl. Fr. James R. Hennessy. Burial will be in St. Elizabeth's Cemetery at Wellsville.

Alice Welsh Mrs. Alice E. Welsh, a former resident of Wellsville, died Friday at 3 a. m. in the home of her daughter, Mrs.

Agnes Dowling of Alliance. She was 91. Mrs. Welsh was born Jan. 29, I860, in Trenton, N.

and lived in Wellsville many years before going to Alliance 13 years ago Her husband, James Welsh, died Aug. 15, 1931.
