Canadians were co-pilot FO. Stanley A. Bennett, whose widow lives at Winnipeg; and Sgt. Robert R. Milligan, whose widow lives as New Westminster, B.C.

The Newe foundlander aboard was Sgt. Lloyd R. Hollett, son of H. Hollett of St. John's, Nild.

The crew had just graduated from an operational training unit in British Columbia and were manning the bomber as reinforcements bound for the Southeast Asia theatre.
