If interested call MRS, FRAZELL Phone 262 Wednesday Morning companied to West Bend, for the initiatory cerefhony, by Charles Price and Pearly Hayftes of Wesley, and Ralph and George Yan- ser, Roy Hansen, Arnold Stru- tters and Wilford Ward of Sex; ton. Mrs Price spent the evening with Mrs Wilford Ward. Mr and Mrs John Jennings have been visiting relatives the past week, including Mr and Mrs Jake Smith of Burt and Mr and Mrs Joe Boekleman of Titonka. They are getting some of their visiting done now because many of their trips in the future will be to Titonka. Mr Fred Jennings is the new owner of a house there next door to his sister, Mrs Harvey Graham. Mr and Mrs John Jennings are helping with the moving and decoration of the new home. We're not saying which one it was since birthdays are not counted after 21 but Mrs Don Prew added another year. Guess they aren't celebrated after 21 either because the only cake on the occasion was cup cakes made for a valentine party at school. Mrs Prey/ assisted at Mrs Simmons kindergarten class where Sammy Prew is a student. Other travelers to Des Moines ;he past week were Wilford Ward and Roy Hansen, • who made a trip in connection with Mr Ward's television sales business. Mr and Mrs Art Klein and family are proof TV owners still go visiting occasionally. They spent Sunday evening at the Wilford Ward home but Mr and Mrs Ward also have TV so probably no "favorite program" was missed anyway. Mr and Mrs Den Prew took their landlord, Ed Fitch,- for a ride to Fairmont, Sunday, where they visited at the home of Mrs Frew's uncle. __Mrs Bill Wermersen, Mrs Bob Wermersen and family, Mrs Johnny Johnston and Mrs Hansen all of Curlew were dinner guests at the Wilford Ward home. Mrs Wilford Ward and Mrs Stanley Gardner were guest mothers at the Plum Creek 4-H meeting held at the Berle Priebe home. Tuesday, February 21, 1956 Algona (la.) Upper Des Mfine*-5 Mr and Mrs August Kirschbaum visited a sister-in-law, Mrs Ollie Kirschbaum, at Mercy hospital in Mason City. She is recovering from surgery for removal of her gall bladder. Mr Benson was featured speaker at a Des Moines Farm Institute attended by Mr and Mrs Glenn Gabrielson, Mr "d Mrs Clrtrles Nvftaard of Wesley, and Albert Johnson of Corwith.
