KENDALL -Mrs. Mary Jane Kendall. 74, of 2137 Locust Monday in a Long Beach hospital. She was a native of England and came here 31 years ago. Surviving is son, st Donald Kendall of Long Beach.

Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. in Mottell's with Peek Mortuary chapel the Rev. Wendell W. Greenleaf officiating. Interment will be in Sunnyside cemetery.

HOWARD- A. Howard, 51, of 345 E. 51st died Tuesday in a Long Beach Hospital He was born at St. John. and came nere 13 years ago.

He was employed in the chemical department of the Pacific Coast Borax Wilmington. Surviving are his wife, Pauline; his mother, Mrs. Mary A. Howard; two brothers, Karl R. and Harvey D.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in Mottell's Peek Mortuary chapel with the Rev. Williard A. Schurr officiating. Interment will be in Green Hills Memorial Park, San Pedro.

Carol Benedict, of 1212 E. Miss Mildred 3rd St. died Monday in a Long Beach hospital. She was a native. Indianapolis, and was a retired Indianapolis school teacher.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Grace H. Benedict, Long Beach. Graveside service will be held today at 2 p.m. in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, with Christensen-Pino Mortuary directing.

THOMASON- Arthur Thomason, 68, of 829 Cedar died Tuesday at home. He was born at Monroe, Iowa, and came here in 1919. He was employed operator at Plant No. 4. Municipal Gas Dept.

He was a memof First Presbyterian Church CLINE -Charles Cline, brother of Mrs. Hugh G. Maddox of 271 Cerritos Ave, died Jan. 14 at his home in Kalamazoo, Mich. Mr.
