W. Edward Humbert LINCOLN W. Edward Humbert, 57, died at 10:20 p.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

His funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Luthern Church, Lincoln, the Rev. Charles Olander officiating. Burial will be Union Cemetery, Lincoln, where military rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m.

Monday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Lincoln. Mr. Humbert was born Sept. 28, 1928, at Lincoln, a son of Edward Evans and Lottie Humbert. He married Helen Baker on Sept.

1, 1978, at Raleigh, N.C. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, Mark, Robert and Gary, all of Lincoln; one daughter, Kathy Prather, Lincoln; two stepsons, Randy Atlanta, and Dale Petty, Raleigh, N.C.; one stepdaughter, Carla Dean, Raleigh, N.C.; one sister, Dorothy Wright; Lincoln; 11 grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister. Mr.

Humbert was a cutter at the Lincoln Garment Factory, and was a member of Zion Luthean Church, Lincoln. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and was a member of American Legion Post 263. Freed, 92, died at 4:14 p.m. yesterday (Feb. 1, 1986) at the Meadows Mennonite Home, Meadows. She was taken to Froelich Memorial Home, Gridley. Kempf infant SECOR Joshua Bruce Kempf, infant son of Bruce D.

and Lori Dann Kempf, R.R. 1, Secor, was stillborn at 4:54 p.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. He was taken to Otto-Argo Funeral Home, Eureka.

Bloomington-Normal Roy K. Boone Roy K. Boone, 78, of 512 E. Taylor Bloomington, died at 10:48 a.m. Friday (Jan.

31, 1986) at his residence. A service by Masonic Lodge No. 43 will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Beck Memorial Home. His funeral will follow, with Dr.

Phillip D. Queen officiating. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Monday at the memorial home.

He was born March 17, 1907, at Colfax, a son of Levi D. and Clara E. Vancil Boone. He married Clara Kaufman on Aug. 3, 1935, at Bloomington.

She died in 1982. Survivors include a brother, Lyle Durword, Garland, Texas, and a sister, Josephine Costigan, 1509 N. Calhoun Bloomington. He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and two sisters. He was a member of Second Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge No.

43 and the Bloomington Consistory. He managed the Piggly Wiggly Grocery Store, Bloomington, for several years and was later a clerk at Hanner's Market, Bloomington. Memorials may be made to Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospital. Warren T. Wirick Warren Thomas 'Tom' Wirick, 62, of W.

Jefferson Bloomington, died at 11:55 p.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at Brokaw Hospital, following a brief illness. He was taken to Metzler Memori- al Home. James Freeburg MORTON The funeral of James Freeburg, 69, of 360 N.

Nebraska Morton, who died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday (Jan. 30, 1986) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Washington, with Pastor Dean Beckwith and the Rev.

Paul Park officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Morton. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Perry Memorial Home, with an 8 p.m. Masonic service, and also one hour before the service at the church Monday.

He was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Mitchell County, Iowa, a son of Arthur H. and Florence Swanson Freeburg. He married Jane Guthrie on May 17, 1947, in East Peoria. She survives.

Also surviving are two Lynn Young, Fairbury, and Jana Lehmann, Strawn; a brother, Dale O. Freeburg, East Peoria; and seven grandchildren. Two brothers preceded him in death. He was maintenance supervisor for Witzigs Morton, and was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church and its choir, Temple Lodge 46 AF AM, Peoria Consistory, Mohammed Shrine Temple, Orpheus Club and Shrine Chanters, all of Peoria.

He also was a member of the Morton Whirl-A-Ways, a square dance group. Memorials may be made to the church or the Shriners' Hospital for Crippled Children. Harvey B. Stacey FISHER Harvey B. Stacey, 73, of rural Fisher, died at his home at 1 p.m.

Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) after an extended illness. His funeral will be 2:30 p.m. today at Gibson City Bible Church, the Rev. Thomas Condron officiating.

Burial will be in East Bend Memorial Gardens. Visitation was Saturday at Lux Memorial Chapel, Rantoul. Mr. Stacy was born Oct. 11, 1912, at Louisville, a son of James and Zadel Aldrich Stacey.

He married Viola Birkey June 22, 1938, at Foosland. She survives. Also surviving are a son, James Chelsea, Mich; two daughters, Janice Kuykendall and Becky both of Fisher; eight grandchildren; two great and a sister, Camellia Hayes, Springfield. He was a member of the Gibson City Bible Church and had been employed by the Illinois Department of Transportation and the Office of the Secretary of State. Memorials may be made to the missionary fund of his church or the American Cancer Society.

Brandi Lee Bradley STREATOR Brandi Lee Bradley, 12, Rural Route 1, died at 3:20 p.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m.

Monday at Grace United Methodist Church with Rev. John McClimans officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 p.m. today at Hagi Funeral Home.

Miss Bradley was born July 25, 1973, at Streator, a daughter of Raymond 'Pete' and Rosemary Mortland Bradley. Survivor include her parents three brothers, Brian, Brent and Blair Bradley, all of Streator. She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. Miss Bradley was a seventhgrader at Otter Creek School, where she was a cheerleader for the boys basketball team and a member of the girls basketball team. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

THE PANTAGRAPH, Sunday, Feb. 2, 1986 C11 DEATHS Johann Moritz ROANOKE Johann C. Moritz, 601 N. Monroe Roanoke, died at 12:20 p.m. Friday (Jan.

31, 1986) at Eureka Hospital, where he had been a patient since Tuesday. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Remmert Funeral Home, Roanoke, the Rev. Joseph Bleakley officiating. Burial will be at St.

Peter Lutheran Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation. He was born May 16, 1905, in Linn Township, a son of Herman and Ella Tesch Moritz. He married Anna Folkers Feb. 2, 1948, at Benson.

She died April 8, 1974. He then married Flora Schneider on Feb. 18, 1976, at Benson. She survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Linda Weihmeir, Minier; two stepsons, Donald Schneider, Bloomington, and Thomas Schneider, Mossville; one stepdaughter, Diane Stine, Minonk; four brothers, Chris, Minonk; Rudy, Benson; Martin, Roanoke; and William, Streator; two stepsisters, Mary Eisle, Soquel, and Elizabeth Seggerman, Minonk.

He was preceded in death by: a son, a sister, a brother, a stepsister and a stepbrother. Mr. Moritz farmed until his retirement in the Linn Township area. He was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church near Benson, where memorials may be made.

Helen Moehring MASON CITY Helen Moehring, 89, of 501 E. High Mason City, died at 3 a.m. yesterday (Feb. 1, 1986) at the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Monday at the Maas Funeral Home, Mason City, the Rev. Thomas Wirsing officiating. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery in San Jose. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

She was born July 19, 1896, at Delevan, a daughter of John and Albertine Hermann Deiss. She married Alfred Moehring Feb. 19, 1919, at San Jose. He died Oct. 1, 1928.

Surviving are a daughter, Mildred Chester, Lincoln; one granddaughter; and two greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers. Memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Church, where Mrs. Moehring was a member, or to the Lincoln Christian Nursing Home. Paul L.

Burke SAYBROOK Paul Lamar Burke, 83, of Lake Havasu City, 3:22 formerly of (Feb. Saybrook, 1, 1986) died at a.m. yesterday Havasu Regional Hospital, Lake Havasu City. His funeral will be 3 p.m. the Lake Havasu Christian Church, with burial in Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens.

There will be no local visitation or service. Mr. Burke was born Nov. 18, 1902 at Saybrook, a son of Samuel and Julia Belle Sholtey Lappin. He was raised by Ben and Ida Burke.

He married Bertha Hallar at Bloomington. She died Jan. 31, 1981. Survivors include two sisters, Goldie Cox, LeRoy; and Pearl Hummel, Kankakee. Mr.

Burke was a farmer and carpenter in the Saybrook area before retiring. He moved to Phoenix in 1956, before moving to Lake Havasu in 1967. He was a member of Lake Havasu Christian Church. Winifred Boeman CULLOM Winifred Boeman, 92, formerly of Kempton, died at 4:45 a.m. yesterday (Feb.

1, 1986) at Merkle-Knipprath Nursing Center, Clifton. She was taken to Stewart Funeral Home, Cullom. Myrtle A. Kaiser GIBSON CITY Myrtle A. Kaiser, 75, a resident of Gibson City, died at 12:10 a.m.

yesterday (Feb. 1, 1986) at the Gibson Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City. Her funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Robert G.

Killion officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born Jan.

4, 1911, at Gibson City, a daughter of Peter and Myrtle Jordan May. She married Clarence Kaiser on Aug. 30, 1958, at Gibson City. He died on Feb. 24, 1961.

Surviving are one daughter, June Forbes, Paxton; three brothers, Henry and Adolph May, both of Gibson City; and Russel May, Elliot; one sister, Gladys Smock, Gibson, City; seven grandchildren; and. nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, one daughter, one grandson, two great-gradchildren, one brother and two sisters. Mrs. Kaiser lived most of her life in the Gibson City area.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Ella Graber MINIER Ella Graber, 92, of 312 W. Peoria a resident of the Minier area for the last 60 years, died at 8:10 a.m. yesterday (Feb. 1, 1986) at Mennonite Hospital, Bloomington.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at McReynolds-Herrmann Funeral Home, Minier, the Rev. Dale R. Beaman officiating. Burial will be in Minier Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Nov. 10, 1893, at Fisher, a daughter of John and Kate Reinhardt Bachman. She married Otto Graber on July 19, 1911, at Kenosha, Wis.

He died on July 8, 1950. Survivors include four sons, Wilbur, Dean, Bobby and James, all of Minier; four daughters, Florence Stroud, Armington; Wilhelmina Graber, East Peoria; Bernice Bishop, Minier; and Jo Anne Ball, Cocoa, one sister, Louise Graber, Minier; 17 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a grandson. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was a charter member of Harry Riddle American Leigion Auxiliary Unit 448, Minier. Memorials may be made to the Minier or Armington rescue squads.

Harriet M. Goodin ATLANTA Harriet M. Goodin, 78, of Atlanta, died at 11:27 a.m. yesterday (Feb. 1, 1986) at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Lincoln.

She had been in ill health. There will be a graveside service at 3 p.m. today at the Atlanta Cemetery, the Rev. John E. Kauffman officiating.

There will be no visitation. Mrs. Goodin was born Sept. 14, 1907, at Atlanta, a daughter of Samuel H. and Lula Altic Turner.

She married C. Wesley Goodin June 1, 1929, at Bowling Green, Mo. He survives. She was preceded in death by one brother. Mrs.

Goodin taught elementary school for 41 years. Her first teaching assignment was at Walnut Row School in Eminence Township, and she later taught at the Eminence School. When the country schools closed, she began teaching in the Atlanta schools, retiring i in 1972. She was a member of Atlanta United Methodist Church and the Goodwill Builders class. She was an honorary member of the Atlanta Women's Club.

He was born July 27, 1970, at Lincoln, a son of Larry L. and Patricia M. O'Brien Johnson. He is survived by his parents, 3007 Morningside Drive, Bloomington; two brothers, Eric M. and Patrick both at home; and his paternal grandparents, Ray and Lee Johnson of Omaha, Neb.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents. He was a sophomore at Bloomington High School. He lettered for the varsity swim and soccer teams. He was a member of the Bloomington-Normal YMCA swim team and the Four Seasons swim team. He was a member of Holy Trinity church and the Trinity Needs Teens (TNT) youth group.

Memorials may be made to the Holy Trinity parish memorial fund, St. Joseph's Hospital Medical Center or the Bloomington High School swim or soccer teams. Frederick Wurgler Frederick J. Wurgler, 77, of 1 708 S. Morris Bloomington, died Mr.

Wurgler at 12:56 p.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at Mennonite Hospital. His funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Beck Memorial Home, the Rev.

Robert Howard officiating. Cremation rites will follow. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Beck Memorial Home, with a Masonic service Mr. Wurgler by the Arts and Crafts Masonic Lodge at 7:30 p.m.

He was born July 1, 1908, at Stockton, a son of Frederick G. and Emelia Schmidt Wurgler. Frederick and Zona Wurgler were married Oct. 28, 1929, at Bloomington. She survives.

Also surviving are a brother, Raymond, Madison, and two sisters, Margaret Lust, and Gladys Sias, both of Mount Horeb, Wis. He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. He was a member of Arts and Crafts Masonic Lodge, Bloomington Consistory and was given a meritorious service award in 1972 by the consistory. Mr. Wurgler was a member of Yorkrite, Ancestry Landmark 3579, Commanderie, was a member and past patron of Bloomington chapter Order of the Eastern Star.

He was past watchman of shepherd of Mount Olive Shrine White Shrine of Jerusalem. Mr. Wurgler worked in a meat market in Normal for many years. For the last 25 years he was chief steward at Bloomington Consistory. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Bloomington.

William E. Taylor William E. Taylor, 70, of 504 W. MacArthur Bloomington, tired farmer in the Sibley area, died at 12:25 p.m. yesterday (Feb.

1, 1986) at his residence. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, the Rev. Bruce Badger officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Sayboook.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the memorial home. He was born Dec. 3, 1915, at Ohio County, a son of Ellis and Enola Kessinger Taylor. He married Mamie Schultz, who survives at Monticello.

Also surviving are three sons, William, Arrowsmith; John, Lexington; and Charles, Mansfield; five daughters, Jewel Embry, Saybrook; Peggy Gaines, and Lillie Moore, both of LeRoy; Delores Bigger, El Paso; and Gladys Massey, Weldon; three brothers, Everett, 504 W. MacArthur Bloomington; Alva, Nokomis; and Gorman, 516 S. Evans Bloomington; three sisters, Opal Herald, 1202 W. Miller Bloomington; Florence Herald, Denver, and Ruth Brown, 1318 W. Oakland Bloomington; and 10 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and a grandson. Clifford House Clifford M. House, 78, of Redington Shores, formerly of Bloomington, died at 10:03 a.m. Friday (Jan. 31, 1986) at Lake Seminole Hospital, St.

Petersburg, Fla. His funeral will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Beck Memorial Home, the Rev. Forrest Sloane officiating. Burial will be in Democrat Cemetery, Carlock.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday at the memorial home. Mr. House was born July 28, 1907, at Bloomington, a son of Albert E. and Jessie Travis House.

He married Gertrude Bateman on Sept. 21, 1929, at Bloomington. She survives. Also surviving are one brother, Robert, Middleton, R.I.; one sister, Inal Schrafenberg, 904 N. Morris Bloomington; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and was an electrical. engineer for several years in the Kankakee area. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund.
