Kirk Engagement Announced. The New York Daily Tribune of last Sunday announces an engagement which will be of much interest to many Coshocton the bride-elect being Miss Louise Gallagher and thft happy "man, Mr: Jesse Adams. Mr. Adams has scores of friends here, his rise in legal circles has been watched with interest by them all and now that his engagement is announced the congratulations are being fairly showered him. O. T. M. Meeting. The ladies of the Maccabees hold their regular meeting Wednesday ev ening.

The Young Peoples' society of Gennan Evangelical church will hold first regular meeting at the church this evening at 7:15 o'clock. L. Maxwell, the well known and popular clerk in the local Panhandle ticket office, has just received notice of his transfer to the Wheeling W. A 7 office and he leaves for that place to take up his new duties next Monday. It has not yet been announced who will take the position in the Coshocton office made vacant by the transfer but Stanley Walker the night clerk is the next in line for the job as far as local employees of the coruapny are concerned.
