CAueax ON A COLD WAYS. The cold wave has at last struck us, and erest Is the howl of the wind on account of it. "And the wind blew through his whiskers." So signs of destruction have been noticed as yet, particularly those signs that fall on people's heads on occasions like this. A runawav horse is a common occurrence but a'runaway baby carriage Is something new. But while the nurse wss taking the baby into the store the December breeze came stealing along and taking the shaggy hair on the robe in the basgy for whiskers deliberately blew throueh it, hence the locomotion.
