in 18G7 there came to Wnco a sick stranger mimed tinmuel Corprew who was from au eastern Tex as county He was accompanied by his fatherin law whoso name was Hart the latter being at that time a member of the Texas legislature from Titus county Mr Corpnw was too sick to travel further anil the party halted in Waco Corprow grow worse and died It was learned that he was Mason and members of that Order came to see him during his illness and wo are also told that ho had a Masonic funeral This latter point however is not clearly established It is known though that ho elied and was buried in Waco no
