officer he did not have a license and had never owned one A records check revealed the license had been revoked and he had two outstanding warrants The officer returned to the car and placed the man under arrest Reports said an officer searched the man and found a wad of money totaling 12433 in the pocket as well as a pocket knife A calculator was found in the left front pocket According to reports a car search revealed three bags that contained about 3400 in loose bills plastic baggies containing what appeared to be marijuana and papers with names and phone numbers on them Police reportedly found a small pocket book that held what appeared to be hashish which was divided into POLICE BLOTTER three pieces and a piece of paper folded together containing suspected cocaine Field tests proved positive on the hashish and cocaine police reports show Two female passengers in the vehcile were released Laktwood-Parkland 'A 23-year-old Parkland man reported his car had been vandalized July 2 possibly by people who had given him a ride home when the vehcile had broken down The man said he experienced vehicle problems at 112th and Steele streets and had left the car in the parking lot of a convenience store He told police two men in a blue-green GMC truck with ladders cm its canopy which also held two women and three children offered him and his friend a ride home which they reportedly accepted Repots said the man and his friend returned to the convenience store parking lot about 30 minutes later to have the car towed and found it had been vandalized A security officer told police he saw a blue-green GMC pickup with ladders ram into the car intentionally The security officer also reported that someone got out of the truck and broke the glass and lights with a metal bar Both the car owner and security officer reported the incident to the Pierce County Sheriffs Office A 31-year-old Renton woman was booked into Jail for possession of narcotics while visiting McNeil Island Penitentiary according to Steilacoom police A 21-year-old Renton man who claimed to have just driven the woman to the Steilacoom ferry launch told police the woman had allegedly taken crank andor cocaine into the prison Police reported that McNeil guards said the woman was searched before entering the prison to visit her brother Reports said the man who drove the woman contacted Steilacoom police When officers arrived at the ferry launch they found drug paraphenalia and small amounts of cocaine in plastic bags in the car reports show East Piarca County A Sumner woman 27 was stabbed in the back twice near her residence on the morning of July 2 according to Lt Russ Clary of the Sumner Police Department The weapon apparently was a knife approximately six inches long and one inch wide Police said the woman was taken to the Good Samaritan Hospital emergency room where she was treated and released Doctors told police the first knife stab hit a rib and the second entered near the right side of her spine just missing her heart A Sumner woman 45 was thrown from her horse and injured when riding a trail above Crystal Mountain Road on July 3 according to Pierce County sheriffs reports Witnesses told the officer at the scene that the rider's horse had reared above one of the switchbacks on the trail and thrown her Repots said the victim and horse rolled down to the trail below a distance of about 40 feet Records show the woman was conscious but in pain when reached According to repots the woman apparently hit a rock or stump when she landed The rider was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup where she was determined to have sustained a broken collar bow a broken rib and a cracked vertebrae on her neck facing the clerk to lie
