Michael Kupskay, Winnipeg), fond grandmother to John, Kenneth and Norman Petri, and Elizabeth (Betty) Kupskay; great grandmother to John Louis, Kimberly, Joseph, Bret and James Petri; aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Thelma was predeceased by her brothers, Stephen in 1980, Joseph in 1978, and sister Helen Rusinak in 1979. Thelma had an independant spirit and a great sense of humor that helped her cope with crippling arthritis and cancer. Born in St. Martin, Manitoba on April 20, 1922, she moved to Winnipeg and had resided here until her death. She will be sadly missed by her husband Henry children Lynn Thomas and husband Ken of Vancouver, Joy Hidlebaugh and Robert Weizel, both of Winnipeg, Bonnie Morrison and Danny Morrison, both of Stonewall, grandchildren Ksanya, Rachael and Graham, sisters Marie, Zena and Sonya, brothers Al, Johnny and Jerry, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Ruth and Edward Ruff, and numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was predeceased by her mother and father, and a sister Alice Morrison.

She was an active member of Immanuel United Church. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20 at 1:30 pm at the Immanuel United Church, with Bill Hickerson and Rev. He was employed in the Howie Gold Mines and as a bartender at the Red Lake Inn. He moved to Winnipeg, in June 1970. Fred was a chartered member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 4904 Red Lake, member of the Knights of Columbus 5369 St. John Council, Winnipeg, member of the Capt.

Miles MacDonell, 4th Degree, Winnipeg, member of the Red Lake Legion, Branch 103 and West Kildonan Legion, where his is a life member. Fred was a faithful member of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church for many years. He is survived by his wife Nellie, son Ronald and daughter in law Gloria, grandsons Blake and wife Barbara, Steven and wife Seetta, granddaughters, Joelle and Nicole, nephew Gino Mascarin in Italy, and many nieces and nephews in Canada. Pallbearers will be: Roy Tobie, Tony Giancola, Silvio Mascarin, Franz Florenzo, Raymond Sommers, and Raymond Smelsky.
