Mary Frances Newlun CLINTON Mary Frances Newlun, 64, of Clinton died at 6:46 a.m. Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at Dr. John Warner Hospital. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Thursday at Herington-Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, the Rev. J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Pekin. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home.

She was born July 21, 1921, at Clinton, a daughter of James Henry Franklin and Mary Madeline Owens Lovett. She married Delbert Ray Newlun in September 1950 at Clinton. He died Nov. 4, 1963. Survivors include a son, Dennis, Clinton; a daughter, Kathy Jo Brandt, Clinton; two brothers, Frank Lovett, San Diego, and George Lovett, Annandale, two sisters, Ann Fitzgerald, Matteson, and Ina Shaw, Clinton; and two grandchildren.

A brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Newlun was a member of First Christian Church, Eagles Auxiliary and was a representative for Stanley products. Memorials may be made to the church. Ada Tuggle CLINTON Ada Josephine Vandervort Tuggle, 82, of San Diego, formerly of Clinton, died at 8:30 a.m.

Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at Grossmont Hospital, LaMesa, Calif. She was taken to HeringtonCalvert Funeral Home, Clinton. She was born Nov. 12, 1903, at Clinton, a daughter of C.I.

and Carrie M. Barnett Kirby. She married Kenneth L. Vandervort in November 1920 at St. Louis.

He died in 1959. She then married Loren O. Tuggle in 1959 in Clinton. He died in 1962. Survivors include two daughters, Doris Camp, Normal; and Audrey Peters, San Diego, Calif; seven grandchildren; and nine greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a great-grandchild. She was a member of Woodlawn Church Of God, Clinton. Carrie S. Leimbach MOUNT PULASKI Carrie S. Leimbach, 97, of Mount Pulaski, formerly of rural Chestnut, died at 12:20 p.m.

Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at Vonderlieth Living Center. Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Fricke-Calvert-Schrader Funeral Home, Mount Pulaski, the Rev. Paul Droegemueller officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Pulaski Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 29, 1888, at Chestnut, a daughter of Jacob and Mary Roos Stoll.

She married Louis F. Leimbach on Feb. 8, 1911; at Mitchell, S.D. He died July 6, 1976. Survivors include two sons, Clifford Mount Pulaski, and Cleatus, Santa Claus, a brother, Herman Stoll, Carmichael, five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Three sisters and a brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Leimbach was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Mount Pulaski, to which memorials may be made. Jerry R. Owings LINCOLN The funeral of Dr.

Jerry R. Owings, 74, a Lincoln physician for 32 years who died Sunday (Dec. 15, 1985), will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Holland Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln, the Rev. William Turner officiating.

Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Emden. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Nov. 5, 1911, at Taylorville, a son of Richard and Laura Anderson Owings.

He married Frances Hagans July 10, 1937, at Lincoln. She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Frederic, Decatur, and Randall, Warrensburg; a brother, Kenneth, Santa Rosa, two grandchildren. Two brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Dr.

Owings was a retired physician and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Lincoln. He also was a member of Logan County Medical Society, American Medical Association, Lincoln Rotary Club, VFW Post 1756 at Lincoln and Elks Club No. 914, Lincoln. He was a World War II Navy veteran and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a medical officer lieutentant junior grade in World War II and a captain in the Korean Conflict.

He won a Bronze Star in Korea. He was a graduate of Lincoln High School, the University of Illinois and Loyola School of Medicine. He was a member Psi Upsilon fraternity. He began practice with Dr. Frank Hagans in Lincoln in 1946.

He retired in 1978. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice. THE PANTAGRAPH, Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1985 D5 Jessie L. Greer ELKHART Jessie L.

Greer, 88, of Elkhart died at 9 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 17, 1985) at Christian Nursing Home, Lincoln. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Holland Barry Funeral Home, Lincoln, Micheal Drake officiating.

Burial will be in Elkhart Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born Jan. 4, 1897, at Elkhart, a daughter of Wilson and Ida Edgell Van Fossan.

She married Archie Dick Greer on July 5, 1921, at Springfield. He died Sept. 23, 1961. Survivors include three sons, James, Lincoln; Floyd, Sarasota, and Dick Tampico; three daughters, Agnes Welch, Williamsville; Alice Alexander, Pleasant Plains; and Nellie Smith, Springfield; two brothers, Frank Van Fossan, Mount Pulaski, and Oran Van Fossen, Springfield; two sisters, Ethel Schilling, Mount Pulaski, and Ida Fletcher, Chicago; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. A son, a daughter, a brother and three sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Greer was a member of Elkhart Christian Church and the Elkhart American Legion Auxiliary. Memorials may be made to Lincoln Christian Nursing Home. James F. O'Neal STREATOR James F.

O'Neal, 70, Port Charlotte, formerly of 1006 Taylor Streator, died at 1:40 a.m. Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at St. Joseph Hospital, Port Charlotte. He had been ill for six months.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. today at the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal, Punta Gorda, Fla. Cremation rites will be accorded. There will be a memorial service in Streator at a later date. Mr.

O'Neal was born March 7, 1915, at Streator, a son of James and Anna Dorman O'Neal. He married Wanda Lee Hunter on Nov. 8, 1952. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Terry, Streator; a brother, Paul, Streator; a sister, Gladys Lurz, Streator; and two grandchildren.

Mr. O'Neal was employed in Streator as a custodian by School District 45 for 22 years. He was secretary-treasurer of the Service Employees Union 213 while residing in Streator. He moved to Port Charlotte in 1978. He was a member of the Church of the Good Shepherd Episcopal, Punta Gorda; also in Florida he was a member of Elks 3105, Port Charlotte, and Maple Leaf Estates Country Club.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Streator Unlimited. Frank Hinman LINCOLN Frank Hinman, 76, of Lincoln, died at 1:45 p.m. Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at St. Clara's Manor, Lincoln, where he had been a resident for two years.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kerrigan Funeral Home, Lincoln, the Rev. Stuart Couve officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery, Lincoln. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

today at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 30, 1909, at Elkhart, a son of Rollie and Katheryn Koons Hinman. He married Ruth McGee Nov. 5, 1932, at Lincoln.

She survives. Other survivors include two sons, Frank Lincoln; and Gary Newport Beach, two brothers, Dale Broadwell; and Clay, Danville; four grandchildren; and two great randchildren. Mr. Hinman was a building contractor in the Lincoln area for 32 years, retiring in 1971. He was a member of the Lincoln Christian Church and a former member of the Logan County Planning Commission and Lincoln Elks Lodge No.

914. Memorials may be made to St. Clara's Manor or Alzheimer's Disease resarch. Leona Cordes MASON CITY Leona Cordes, 91, of 513 N. Tonica Mason City, died at 2:10 p.m.

Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at St. John's Hospital, Springfield. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mason City United Methodist Church, the Rev.

Richard Chrisman officiating. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Havana. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Maas Funeral Home. She was born Dec. 9, 1894, at Topeka, a daughter of Fred and Anna Kreiling Laumeyer.

She married Edward J. Cordes Jan. 17, 1920, at Bishop. He died Dec. 18, 1962.

Survivors include several nieces and nephews. Three brothers and five sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Cordes was a member of Royal Neighbors of America, American Legion Auxiliary and the United Methodist Church, to which memorials may be made. Jacqueline J.

Roy Andrew Hasler ROANOKE Andrew Hasler, 73, 510 N. Douglas died at 9:20 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 17, 1985) at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, where he had been admitted a few minutes earlier.

He was taken to Remmert Funeral Home, Roanoke. Doris Trail ROANOKE Doris "Jeane" Trail, 60, of 601 W. Front formerly of Bloomington, Normal and Washington, died at 6:15 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 17, 1985) at St.

Francis Medical Center, Peoria, where she had been admitted a few minutes earlier. Her funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at Remmert Funeral Home, Roanoke, the Rev. Robert Coy officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. She was born Feb. 23, 1925, at Oak Hill, a daughter of Alvin and Lula Bateman Collins. She married Ivan J.

Trail on Aug. 14, 1943, at Bloomington. He survives. Also surviving are her mother, Lula Collins, LeRoy; a son, Larry Washington; a daughter, Carol L. Slawson, Congerville; two brothers, James Collins, Towanda, and Ronald Collins, Morton; two sisters, Arlene Hade, Winthrop Harbor, and Bernice Wheet, LeRoy; and six grandchildren.

Mrs. Trail was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Woodford County Maple Lawn Home Extension. She was a graduate of Normal Community High School and had worked as a waitress in the Farmer City and Paxton areas. She and her husband also operated the Crestview Motel in Washington for 12 years. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Vernon Streitmatter WASHINGTON Vernon E. Streitmatter, 58, 1929 Country Fair, Washington, died yesterday (Dec. 16, 1985) at Methodist Medical Center, Peoria. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Washington Apostolic Christian Church, church ministers officiating.

Burial will be at the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Perry Memorial Home, Washington, and one hour before the funeral at the church. He was born April 9, 1927, at Stark County, a son of Jeff and Martha Siebenthal Streitmatter. He married Pearline Metzger on Nov.

17, 1957, at Lester, Iowa. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Paul, and daughter, Kary, both at home; four brothers, Paul, Alfred, and Don, all of Princeville, and Jeff, Sarasota, five sisters, Geraldine, Princeville; Lucille Thomas, Peoria; Sylvia Blunier, Roanoke; Shirley Kieser, Bradford; and Doris Roecke, Sarasota, Fla. One sister preceded him in death. Mr.

Streitmatter is a U.S. Army veteran. He lived in the Washington area for 23 years and worked as a salesman at Schumaker Chevrolet and Joe Green Chevrolet-Buick. Prior to that he farmed in Iowa. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor, Inc.

Lester R. Moody GIBSON CITY Lester R. Moody, 81, a Gibson City resident for 74 years, died at 3:18 a.m. yesterday (Dec. 17, 1985) at Mercy Hospital, Urbana.

A private funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Randall Perry officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:30 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Moody was born Dec. 28, 1903, at Weldon, a son of Jasper and Elizabeth Peacock Moody. He married LaVonne Sawyer on Jan. 28, 1928, at Paxton.

She survives. Other survivors include a son, Richard, Gibson City; a daughter, Deonna Sauer, Gibson City; a brother, John, Paxton; four grandsons; and two great-grandsons. A brother, two sisters, a stepbrother and a stepsister preceded him in death. Mr. Moody owned and operated Moody Produce in Gibson City for 25 years.

He was a former member of Gibson Federal Savings and Loan board, where he served as an appraiser for many years. He also was a former member of Gibson City Grade School Board. He was a member of United Methodist Church of Gibson City and Champaign Loyal Order of Moose. Memorials may be made to the church. FISHER Jacqueline J.

Roy, 60, Aurora, formerly of Fisher, died at 9:35 p.m. Monday (Dec. 16, 1985) at Copley Hospital, Aurora. She had been ill. Her funeral will be 2 p.m.

Thursday at Lamb Funeral Home, Gibson City, the Rev. Robert Mulligan officiating. Burial will be in Bellflower Township Cemetery, Bellflower. Visitation will be an hour before the service at the funeral home. She was born Jan.

30, 1925, at Lotus, a daughter of Guy and Nellie Donahue Beatty. She married Orvis Roy on April 12, 1947, in Champaign County. He survives. Also surviving is a sister, Evelyn Lammle, of Fisher. Her parents preceded her in death.

Mrs. Roy had lived in Aurora for 30 years. She attended Lotus Grade School and was a 1942 graduate of Fisher High School. She was a member of OsmanWalker United Methodist Church, Osman, to which memorials may be made. Clarence Kane CHATSWORTH Clarence Kane, 91, of Phoenix, and formerly of Chatsworth, died at 10:20 a.m.

Baptiste was born Feb. 8, 1908, at New Orleans, a daughter of Charles and Josephine LaBlanc Howard. She married Joseph H. Baptiste Sr. in 1929, in Clinton.

He died June 10, 1980. Survivors include a son, Joseph H. Baptiste 911 E. Empire Bloomington; two daughters, Gladiola Argiannis, 909 E. Empire Bloomington, and Marietta Baptiste, 913 E.

Empire Bloomington; a brother, Herbert Joyce, 913' E. Empire Bloomington; a sister, Elsie J. Stanfill, 911 W. Oakland Bloomington; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Six brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Mrs. Baptiste was formerly employed in the housekeeping department at Mennonite Hospital, Bloomington. She was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church, the Civic Women's Club and a former member of the Juvenile Justice Commission of Bloomington. Imogene M. Falgier The funeral of Imogene M.

Falgier, 50, of 1409 W. Sheridan Bloomington, who died Monday (Dec. 16, 1985), will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Flynn Funeral Home, and 10 a.m. Thursday at St.
