These holidays tall singly some months, in others they come in pairs, but in February we find three occasions for a party. It may not be a big party — possibly you'll just invite another coyple in to celebrate the day, but in any event you'll want appropriate refreshments for the occasion. Lincoln'* Log Loaf — a festive loqf of cream cheese, sweet pickle relish and bologna does the trick. It's ever so easy to make too. Serve with a tray of relishes, hot buttered rolls and steaming cups of cocoa. LINCOLN LOG LOAF (Makes 6 servings) 1 teaspoon light cream or top milk 3 tablespoons sweet pickle relish 2 8-ounce packages of cream cheese Vb cup sweet pickle relish 1 pound bologna sliced Vs -inch thick (about 2 inches in diameter) i K ^ hip ® ounces c / e1am cheese until light and fluffy. Fold in >,b cup pickle relish. Spread a spoonful of cheese-relish mixture on a bologna slice. Place another bologna slice on top and spread it with pickle mixture. Repeat this procedure until all bologna has been used. Lay pile lengthwise on serving platter. Whip remaining 8 ounces cream cheese with cream until light and fluffy. Cover roll evenly with plain cream cheese. Garnish with pickle relish and pickle-pimiento flower. Chill in refrigerator several hours or overnight. To serve, slice roll diagonally
