Cooke, 82, of South Bend, a retired barber formerly of Morton, died at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday (June 29, 1994) at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Ind. There will be a memorial service at a later date. Mr. Cooke was cremated.

Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mi-shawaka, was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Cooke was born Jan. 19, 1912, at LeRoy, a son of Henry and Lula Cooke. He married Flora M.

Spence Dec. 24, 1933, at Atlanta. She survives at South Bend, Ind. Other survivors include one daughter, Patricia M. Mclntire, 50726 Old Lantern Trail, Granger, one brother, Delmer Cooke, Bloomington; one sister, Sybil Gordon, Bloomington; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Mr. Cooke was a barber in Morton for 40 years, retiring in 1980. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Shirley L. Davis STREATOR Shirley L.

Davis, 57, of 201 N. Third St, Streator, died at 4:47 p.m. Thursday (June 30, 1994) at St Mary's Hospital, Streator, where she had been a patient for two weeks. Her funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at St Paul's Lutheran Church, the Rev.

Mr. Walker was born July 1, 1912, at Batavia, Iowa, a son of David and Kathryn Miller Walker. He married Ann Vetter June 3, 1945, at Sibley. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Cherryll Trent, Hudson, and Linda Walker, Bloomington; one son, Larry Walker, Seneca; two sisters, Mary Jane Broedelet, Burlington, and Helen Romano, Blooming Grove, N.Y.; two brothers, Cecil Walker, Lake Geneva, and Ted Walker, Elkhorn, seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

One son, one sister, one brother and one granddaughter preceded him in death. Mr. Walker farmed in the Sibley area most of his life. He retired in 1977. He was a member of the Gibson City United Methodist Church.

Memorials may be made to his church or to Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City. Bloomington-Normal William A. Brink The graveside service of William A. Brink, 86, of 901 N. Main St, Normal, will be at 11:30 a.m.

Tuesday at Graceland Cemetery, Decatur. The Rev. Noel Maughmer will officiate. There will be no visitation. Met-zler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington, has charge of arrangements.

Mr. Brink died at 11:55 a.m. Thursday (June 30, 1994) at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal, where he had been a resident He was born June 28, 1908, at Decatur, a son of Fred C. and Mary Britt Brink. He has no survivors.

He was preceded in death by one brother. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Bishop, .21, of 1905 Midway, The Landings, Normal, was riding south on Center Street, about 9:25 p.m. when a car east-' bound on MacArthur Avenue pulled into Bishop's path, Bloomington police said. The motorcycle imbedded itself in the car's front driver-side quarterpanel and Bishop was thrown across the hood, police said. Lifeline paramedics took Bishop to BroMenn Regional Medical Center, where he was being treated from arm and hip injuries, according to Bloomington rescue reports. The car's driver, Fred O.

Rex-roat, 61, of 12 Third St, Greenwood Mobile Home Court, Bloomington, was not injured. He was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to yield at a stop sign. Mrs. Davis worked at Ace Hardware and Hudachko Drug Store.

Hall WASHINGTON Beverly I. Hall, 60, of Washington died at 3 p.m. Wednesday (June 29, 1994) at her residence. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. today at Grace Presbyterian Church, Peoria, the Revs.

26, 1934, at Peoria, a daughter of Albert and Lucille Funk Boerckel. Survivors include one son, Thomas Hall, Bloomington; one daughter, Vicki Garlock, Milwaukee, two brothers, Robert Boerckel, Peoria; and Albert Boerckel, Florida; one stepsister, Roberta Prussner, Reddick; and three grandchildren. Mrs. Hall was employed by Foster Gallagher Co. in Peoria.

and Maude Strawbridge Squire. He married Sue Parson April 27, 1947, in San Jose. She survives. Other survivors include one daughter, Judy Murphy, Springfield; one sister, Louise Young, Pensacola, two grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren. One sister and one granddaughter preceded him in death.

Mr. Squire formerly worked for Contel of Illinois Telephone Co. Glenn D. Walker GIBSON CITY Glenn D. Walker, 82, of Gibson City, formerly of Sibley, a retired farmer, died at 12:05 p.m.

Friday (July 1, 1994) at Gibson Community Hospital, Gibson City. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Gibson City United Methodist Church, the Rev. Patrick W. Cox officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Sibley. Bloomington police investigated a car-minivan accident at 8:23 p.m. at Lee Street and Oakland Avenue. Tara Jones, 16, of Bloomington was treated at St. Joseph Medical Center and released after police said her minivan ran a stop sign while southbound on Lee, was struck by a westbound car and flipped over onto the steps of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.

The car's driver, Robert M. Shipley, 25, Chadwick, was not injured. Daniel A. McCord The memorial service of Daniel Andrew McCord, 59, of R.R. 13, Bloomington, a manufacturing engineer, will be at 3 p.m.

today at Metzler-Froelich Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Rev. Fred Belcher will officiate. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. today at the memorial home.

A graveside service was Tuesday at Hopewell Cemetery, Plant City, Fla. Mr. McCord died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday (June 25, 1994) at Blake Hospital, Bradenton, after a heart attack. He was born Feb.

26, 1935, at Motherwell, Scotland, a son of Harry and Isabella Bennett McCord. He married Mary Dewar July 28, 1956, at Motherwell, Scotland. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Joan Todd and Carol McCord, both of Valrico, two sons, David McCord, Elburn, and Robert McCord, Aurora; one sister, Joan McWhinnie, Motherwell, Scotland; one brother, John McCord, Scotland; and eight grandchildren. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. McCord was a manufacturing engineer for Revere Ware i subsidiary of Corning Glass Works. He was a member of Bloomington Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 281 and was a member and past governor of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1368, St Charles. He attended St Luke Union Church, Bloomington. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Moody Antoinette M. Moody, 77, of 509 N. Adelaide St, Normal, retired civil service voucher audit clerk, died at 8:15 p.m. Thursday (June 30, 1994) at Heritage Manor, Normal. She was taken to Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington.
