12 GotcsbutQ Reoistor-Moil, Galesburg r Friday, Oct 18, 1963 NOTICE Or SCHOOL ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that (t the 2nd day of November, 1*63, a Special Election will be held in Community Unit School District No. 206, Knox and Warren Counties, Illinois, for the purpose of submitting to the legal voters of said School District, the following proposition, viz: Shall the maximum tax rate for educational purposes of Community Unit School District No. 205 Knox and Warren Counties, Illinois, be established at 1.37% on the full, fair cash value of taxable property located in the said School District instead of 1.25%, the maximum rate otherwise applicable to the next taxes to be extended? The Board of Education of said Community Unit School District No. 205, estimates that the ap proximate amount of taxes extendible for educational purposes under the proposed in creased rate is $1,916,449. and that the approximate amount of taxes extendible for educational purposes under the maximum rate now in force is $1,748,585 POLLING PLACES That for the purpose of said Special Election, the following precincts and polling places are hereby established: VOTING PRECINCT NO. 1 The territory in the City of Galesburg, Illinois, bounded on the North and West by the City Limits; on the East by the center line of Henderson Street and on the South by the main line tracks of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Co. VOTING PRECINCT NO. 2 The territory in the City of Galesburg, Illinois, bounded on the North by the center line of Dayton Street, on the West by the center line of Henderson Street; on the East and South by a line running South along the center line of West Street from the center line of Dayton Street, to the center line of North Street, thence West along the center line of North Street, to the center line of Academy Street, thence South along the center line of Academy Street to the main line tracks of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Co. thence West along the center line of the said main line tracks of the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Co., to the center line of Henderson Street.
