THE PANTAGRAPH, THURSDAY, JULY 15, 1982 DEATHS RELIGION Lawrence P. Fuchs MORTON (PNS) Lawrence P. Fuchs, 55, of 209 N. Ohio a maintenance worker at St. Francis Hospital Medical Center, Peoria, died at 10:29 p.m.

Tuesday at St. Francis. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ludwig Mortuary, the Rev. Tom Mizeur officiating.

Burial will be in Roberts Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the mortuary, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. He was born Sept. 23, 1926, at Metamora, a son of John B. and Rosalia M.

DuBois Fuchs. He married Dorothy Fulk Nov. 15, 1947, at Metamora. He married Shirley Zenzen July 26, 1975, at Morton. She survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Jo Ella Taylor, Peoria; Sue Mischler, Metamora; Mary Voss, Greenville, and Diana Harris, East Peoria; two sons, David, of Henry, and Michael, Washington; three stepdaughters, Patricia Mixon, Monmouth: Cynthia Shoff, East Peoria; and Pamela Van Osdol, Peoria; a stepson, Derek White, at home; 20 grandchildren; four brothers, Herman, Dunlap; Henry and Harold, both of Metamora; and Francis, Sparland; and two sisters, Eleanor Crawford, Peoria, and Mary Ann Fuchs, address unknown. Mr. Fuchs moved to Morton from Washington in 1975. He was employed in the maintenance department at St. Francis Hospital Medical Center, Peoria, for nine years.

He also was a co-owner of QuikCheck Food Mart, East Peoria. He was a Catholic. He was a member of St. Francis Hospital bowling team and the Illinois National Guard. Memorials may be made to the coronary care unit at St.

Francis Hospital Medical Center, Peoria. LeRoy Johnson STREATOR (PNS) LeRoy I. Johnson, 75, of 1006 Lundy a retired farmer, died at 8:45 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Hospital, where he had been a patient two' weeks.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Winterrowd Funeral Home, with burial in Sunbury Cemetery, rural Streator. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. He wa's born July 22, 1906, at Norway, a son of Mark and Anna Lee Johnson. Surviving are three brothers, Jay, Streator: Clifford, Odell; and Archie, Neschanic, N.J.: three sisters, Mayme Johnson, Odell; Nell LeGare, Ottawa: and Vida Trainor, Streator.

A brother preceded him in death. Mr. Johnson lived in the Blackstone area before he moved to Streator after he retired from farming. Emmy Meyers PAXTON (PNS) Emmy Meyers, 86, a resident of the Illinois Knights Templar Home for Aged Infirm Inc. since December 1981, died at 1:55 p.m.

Monday at the home. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Harden Funeral Home, Milwaukee. Burial will be in Wisconsin Memorial Park, Milwaukee. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 tonight at the funeral home where Order of the Eastern Star rites will be accorded.

Mrs. Meyers was born Jan. 24, 1896, in Philadelphia, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Lauritzen.

She married William Meyers, who preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Paul Carpentersville; and two sisters, Andrea Hadler and Lillian Lauritzen, both of Milwaukee. He died in 1970, Surviving are five sons, Leonard Burris, Mesquite, Texas; Jack Burris and Corwin Burris, both of Clinton; Bob Burris, Wapella; and Donald Burris, Normal; a daughter, Betty McCubbin, Wapella; two sisters, Maude Harris and Pearl Trummel, both of Clinton; 19 grandchildren; and 25 -grandchildren. Page MORTON (PNS) Mary E. Getz, 88, of 215 E. Dillwood a housekeeper, died at 10:55 a.m. yesterday at Apostolic Christian Restmor where she had been a patient since October. Her funeral will be at 10 a.m.

Saturday at Morton Apostolic Christian Church, ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Ludwig Mortuary and an hour before the funeral at the church. She was born Aug.

27., 1893, at Morton, a daughter of Henry and Sara Whittmer Getz. She was the last member of her family. Two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. A lifelong Morton resident, she was a housekeeper and a member of Morton Apostolic Christian Church. Memorials may be made to Apostolic Christian Restmor Inc.

McNeil was born Jan. 10, 1914, in Mason City, a son of Al and Mabel Ely McNeil. He married Lucille Owen on Sept. 20, 1941, in Chicago. She survives.

Other survivors include a son, Charles, Mason City; a daughter, Roberta Dress, Phoenix, and a brother, Wilbert, Petersburg. A brother preceded him in death. Mr. McNeil was an active lawyer in Mason City, practicing there for 42 years. He was a member of the United Methodist Church; Ansar Temple, Mason City; Mason City Masonic Lodge; New Salem Shrine Club; Elks Club; Rotary International; Order of Eastern Star; American and Illinois bar associations; and Phi Alpha Delta Fraternity.

Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Fritts was born May 17, 1911, at Maroa, a son of Charles and Zella Burns Fritts. He married Martha Shinneman on May 28, 1938, at Covington, Ind. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Thomas Harold, Albuquerque, a daughter, Marsha Lynch, Lincoln, a half sister, Nancy Riggs, Mount Zion; and two grandchildren. A grandchild preceded him in death. Mr. Fritts was a member of the Shiloh Chapel United Methodist Church, near Weldon, and the Maroa (M) Club. Memorials may be made to Dr.

John Warner Hospital. Carl A. Fehr ROANOKE The funeral of Carl A. Fehr, 86, of 301 N. Green who died Tuesday, will be at 10 a.m.

Friday at Remmert Funeral Home, the Rev. Don Sauder officiating. Burial will be in Roanoke Apostolic Christian Cemetery where military rites will be accorded by the Roanoke. American Legion Post. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mr. Fehr was born Aug. 7, 1895, at Wing, a son of Jacob and Caroline Keller Fehr. He married Agnes Mischler on March 6, 1931, at Eureka. She survives.

Also surviving are a son, Donald, Roanoke; two daughters, Ruth Bachman, Bloomington; and Peggy Jording, Metamora; a sister, Anna Quigley, Morton; two stepsisters, Olive Rein and Emily Sanders, both of Morton; and three grandchildren. Two brothers and a stepbrother preceded him in death. Mr. Fehr was a blacksmith for 55 years with B.J. Fehr, Roanoke, retiring in 1974.

A World War I Army veteran, he was a member of the Roanoke American Legion Post. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Paul T. Heinold EAST PEORIA Paul T. Heinold, 81, of 1505 N.

Peoria Peoria, a retired painter and a resident of Bel-Wood Nursing Home, Peoria, since 1979, died there at 9:45 p.m. Monday. His funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at LeRoy Schmidt Memorial Chapel, East Peoria, LeRoy Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery, Peoria.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. today at the memorial chapel. Mr. Heinold was born Aug. 28, 1900, at Elgin, a son of John and Anna Wustholz Heinold.

Surviving are a son, Delmar, address unknown; four sisters, Clara Maurer and Leah Maurer, both of Fairbury; Martha Blessman, Tucson, and Lydia Blessman, Mason City; and a brother, Eli, Chesterton, Ind. Jean Robertson Bond Jean Robertson Bond, 88, of 1504 E. Washington Bloomington, formerly of Morrisville, died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday at Mennonite Hospital's Long-Term Care Unit, where she had been a resident since 1973. Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morrisville United Methodist Church, with burial in Morrisville Cemetery.

Kibler-Smith Memorial Home, Bloomington, is in charge of local arrangements. She was born May 25, 1894, at Wishart, a daughter of John Wesley and Julia Ruyle Robertson. She married William Henry Bond Sept. 13, 1914. He died June 1, 1956.

Surviving are a son, John Sun City West, a daughter, Velma Walker, 1504 E. Washington Bloomington; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Bond was a member of Morrissville United Methodist Church and a lifelong member of Women's Society of Christian Service.

She was a former officer of Ravenswood Civic league, Chicago, and Ravenswood Methodist Church and choir, where she was a soloist. She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War I and II. She also was a member of several university and philanthropic organizations. She was a music major at Scarritt-Morrisville College, and later taught piano. She was a dormitory director at Central College, Fayette, and Drury College, Springfield, Mo.

Memorials may be made to Mennonite Hospital's Long-Term Care Unit or Morrisville United Methodist Church. M. Joe Dorn M. Joe Dorn, 28, Hayden Lake, Idaho, a Bloomington native, died July 8 as a result of a logging accident in the Flat Creek Area near Prichard, Idaho. He was hit by a falling dead tree.

Mr. Dorn was a logger for Squaw Creek Lumber Company. His funeral was Monday at English Funeral Chapel, Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. Mr. Dorn was born Aug.

7, 1953, in Bloomington, a son of William H. and Sue Dorn Sr. He married Gene L. Dutton on April 10, 1980, in Coeur D'Alene. She survives.

Other survivors include his father, Chene, his mother, Hayden Lake; three brothers, William H. Dorn Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Ben M. and Tom, both of Hayden Lake; a grandmother, Ina Shepherd, Hayden Lake, formerly of Bloomington-Normal; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Mike Reiter, 1318 N.

Allin Bloomington. Mr. Dorn's father, a former city patrolman, was injured in a logging accident Dec. 7, 1972, near Colburn, Idaho. Mr.

Dorn was a member of Seventh-day Adventist Church, Coeur D'Alene. He had attended Hayden Lake Elementary School and the Upper Columbia Academy, Spangle, Wash. He moved to southern Idaho in 1958 from Bloomington and then moved to Hayden Lake in 1963. Streator woman's father dead at 79 STREATOR (PNS) Clifford T. Higgins, 79, Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada, father of a Streator woman, died Tuesday at Infirmary in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

She was born July 9, 1918, at Dillon, a daughter of Harold L. and Alice Sawyer Dean. She married Richard O. Baird Oct. 12, 1952, at Morton.

He survives. Also surviving are a son, Lyle Washington; a daughter, Joan Baird, Washington; a sister, Mary Peck, Washington; two brothers, Harold, Morton, and Walker, Springfield; and three grandchildren. A brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Baird was a member of Washington United Methodist Church and Washington Home Extension.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Homer Oswald MORTON (PNS) Homer Oswald, 71, of 2360 N. Morton former superintendent of Morton utilities, died at 4 p.m. yesterday at St. Francis Hospital Medical Center, Peoria, where he had been a patient since July 7.

His funeral will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Morton Community United Church of Christ, the Rev. Dr. David Reese III officiating. Burial will be in Hirstein Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Perry Memorial Home, and an hour before the service at the church. He was born Nov. 8, 1910, at Morton, a son of Carl and Adina Naffzinger Oswald.

He married Ethel Mae Ingold March 4, 1936, at Morton. She died March 4, 1970. He married Gladys Kahler Powell June 30, 1971, at Morton. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, John, Hampton, N.H.; Alan, Walnut Creek, and Robert Michael Powell, Bloomington; two daughters, Mary K.

Oswald, San Francisco, and Peggy Sours, Bloomington; three brothers, Clarence, Cuba; Elton, Hunstville, and Ralph, McLean, and three grandchildren. Mr. Oswald was superintendent of all Morton utilities for 18 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of Kennel Lake Sportsman's Club, Morton Optimist's Club and Hirstein Cemetery Association and a former school board member. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
