Moore and Sidney Dean presented "Easy Living" a splendid comedy starring Jean Arthur and Edward Arnold The picture will come to the Rialto theater here for 11s first showing later this month Before "Easy Living" made its initial appearance Lakewood theater was initiated into the order of Good and Loud Community Singing Arnold Leverenz was at the organ and the audience put orioles to shame on such favorites as "The Old Gray "Shine On Harvest Moon" Liza June" and others This particular singer was highly complimented on his feat of hitching Old Dobbin to the shay when others were riding with vaudeville will start at 7 and will last until 9 Features to be included on the program are the famous 3 Radio Rogues and the Four Esquires popular quartet that will give the patrons a well-rounded program of singing and instrumental solos A stage will be built in front of the theater and the large parking space in front of the Community Center will provide standing room for hundreds of Tacomans and residents of outlying communities anxious to attend the opening Fine Beauty Shop A revelation hi modem beauty treatment scientifically offered by experts in a luxuriously-equipped shop awaits patrons of the Lake-wood Health and Beauty Center one of the community service units in the new Community Center Acknowledged by beauty technicians as one of the finest shops in I the country the Lakewood Health and Beauty Center will offer a complete program known as the "Conquest of and includ- ing body facial and scalp treat- i ments Mis Louise Roberts is manager of the Lakewood shop and Muir and Dr Klop-ping will open doctor's and dentist's offices in the new Lakewood Community Center at the Junction of the Steilacoom and Gravelly lake roads opening for public inspection Thursday night Both suites are located on the second floor of the Colonial building and are both in the same wing reached by the stairway near the entrance to the drug store The offices will be equipped with the very latest equipment The suites are spacious and well lighted both artificially and naturally and carry out the handsome decorative motif throughout the entire community center MARKET CART AIDS
