Nims, 66, of Onarga, who died Friday (Oct. 12, 1984), will be at. 1 p.m. Monday at Onarga Methodist Church, the Rev. Glenn Wittrup officiating.

Burial will be in Gilman Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Redenius Funeral Home, Gilman, with Odd Fellows rites accorded at 8 p.m. He was born April 1, 1918, near Gilman, a son of Amil C. and Lydia Rife Nims.

He married Helen H. Conrad July 18, 1940, at Gilman. She survives. Also surviving are three sons, Larry Bourbonnais; Jimmie Gilman; and Jerry Onarga; a sister, Shirley Sharp, Gilman; a brother, Lyle, Gilman; and six grandchildren. Two brothers and one grandchild preceded him in death.

Mr. Nims was a member of Onarga: Methodist Church, Methodist Men's Association and the Gilman Odd Fellows Lodge. He also was a past member of the Board of Directors of Grob School and a former director of DanforthGilman grain elevator. Acree GIBSON CITY (PNS) Alice H. Acree, 71, Gibson City, died at 9:53 p.m. Friday (Oct. 12, 1984) at Gibson Community Hospital. Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m.

Monday at First Christian Church, Gibson City, Dr. Hugh Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Drummer Township Cemetery, Gibson City. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at Lamb Funeral Home.

She was born Feb. 19, 1913, at Sibley, a daughter of John and Marie Witt Brucker. She married Wade Clay Acree April 17, 1946, at Sibley. He died July 23, 1982. Surviving are a son, Terry, Watseka; a brother, Herbert Brucker, Sibley; and two grandchildren.

An infant son and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. Acree lived in the Gibson City area most of her life. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Gibson City and First Christian Church. Memorials may be made to the church.

Blanche Sullivan ODELL (PNS) Blanche Sullivan, 95, a resident of Livingston Manor, Pontiac, for about six years, died there at 1:50 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 13, 1984). Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St.

Paul Catholic Church, Odell, the Rev. Edmond Blough officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

today at Watson Funeral Home, Odell, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. She was born Oct. 23, 1888, at Mount Auburn, a daughter of Edward G. and Mary Belle Tankersley Bloxam. She married James S.

Sullivan Sept. 30, 1912, at Odell. He died March 16, 1956. Surviving are three daughters, Alice M. Legner and Bessie Wolf, Odell; and Grace Gunter, Joliet; a sister, Elsie Schott, Union Hill; 17 grandchildren; and 35 great children.

A son, a great-granddaughter, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. Mrs. Sullivan was educated in Reddick schools and Illinois State Normal University. She was a teacher near Reddick and in the Kankakee area for many years. She was a member of St.

Paul Catholic Church, the Church Circle and Odell Home Extension. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's school or Livingston Manor. Iva V. Jeffries PIPER CITY (PNS) Iva V.

Jeffries, 91, died at 11 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 13, 1984) at Carle Memorial Hospital, Urbana. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Piper City, the Rev.

Wesley Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Brenton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Brown-Miller Funeral Home, Piper City, and one hour before the service at the church. She was born Dec.

16, 1892, at Kieffer, W.Va., a daughter of John and Addaline Price Hayslette. She married Thomas Estile Jeffries' June 28, 1916, at Rupert, W.Va. He died in September 1978. Survivors include one daughter, Lenore Eacret, Paducah, and one grandson. She was preceded in death by one daughter, three sisters and five brothers.

Pearson CENTRAL ILLINOIS KEMPTON (PNS) The funeral of Lucy E. Pearson, 72, of 111 Township Line Road, who died Friday (Oct. 12, 1984), will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Kempton United Methodist Church, the Rev. Irvin Kearns officiating.

Burial will be in Chatsworth Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Stewart Funeral Home, Cullom, and an hour before the service at the church. She was born Jan. 11, 1912, at Kempton, a daughter of Raymond and Mae Slagle Haag.

She married Fred Lambert Dec. 20, 1933, at Dwight. He preceded her in death. She married Harold Pearson Jan. 9, 1965, at Kempton.

He survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Doris Lowe, Cabery, and Donna Wagner, Bourbonnais; a stepdaughter, Shirley Zeller, Kempton; grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two greatgrandchildren. A brother preceded her in death. Mrs. Pearson was educated in Kempton schools.

She was a member of Kempton United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and for 19 years was financial secretary for the church. She also was a member of Royal Neighbors of America. Memorials may be made to the church. Aldia E. Eacret PONTIAC The funeral of Aldia 1 E.

Eacret, 94, of Humiston Haven and formerly of McDowell, who died Friday (Oct. 12, 1984), will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home, the Rev. Dorcas Lohr officiating.

Burial will be in South Side Cemetery, Pontiac. Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. She was born Oct. 24, 1889, at Fairbury, a daughter of Salem and Emily Halstead Mcllhaney Ricketts.

She married Charles Eacret Feb. 11, 1915, at Fairbury. He died in 1962. Surviving are three grandchildren and seven great children. Mrs.

Eacret was preceded in death by four brothers, five sisters, two infant daughters and one son, Richard, in 1981. Memorials may be made to Humiston Haven or to a charity of the donor's choice. Schrock, 72, of 601 W. Broad St. died at 9 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 13, 1984) at St.

Francis Medical Center, Peoria, where he had been a patient since Oct. 5. His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Metamora Mennonite Church, the Rev. Larry Augsburger and the Rev.

Kenneth Good officiating. Burial will be in Hickory Point Cemetery near Metamora. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Remmert Funeral Home and one hour before the service at the church. He was born May 29, 1912, near Lowpoint, a son of Peter and Kathryn Imhoff Schrock.

He married Esther M. Neuhauser July 9, 1939, at Eureka. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Stanley Roanoke, and Stephen Delta, a brother, Wilmer "Bill," Morton; a sister, Louella Noe, Eureka; and three grandchildren. Four brothers and a granddaughter preceded him in death.

Mr. Schrock was a member of Metamora Mennonite Church and the Roanoke Businessmen's Association. He served on the board of directors of Maple Lawn Homes. He was formerly a church elder, and served one year at the International Guest House in Washington, D.C. He founded Schrock's Food Mart in Roanoke in 1944 and operated it until selling it in 1969.

He also had been in the grocery business in Lincoln and Benson. Memorials may be made to Maple Lawn Home in Eureka. Robert L. Yates MINONK (PNS) Robert L. Yates, 78, Lexington, former superintendent of Minonk-DanaRutland schools, died Friday (Oct.

12, 1984) at Lafayette Regional Health Center. A memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Lexington United Methodist Church. He will be cremated. Walker-Nadler-Graff Funeral Home, Lexington, is in charge of arrangements.

He was born Feb. 12, 1906, at Houston, Texas, a son of Edward and Grace Tobie Yates. He married Lois Firebaugh July 1930. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Roger, Galveston, Texas; a daughter, Patricia Arthur, Lexington, a brother, Charles, Reedsville, a sister, Maxine Robinson, Seattle, and four grandchildren.

Mr. Yates was superintendent of Minonk-Dana-Rutland schools from 1952 to 1969. He was high school principal at San Jose from 1939 to 1945 and superintendent of schools at Atlanta from 1945 to 1948. He returned to Cuba as superintendent of schools until taking the Minonk post. He taught at the junior college at Wentworth Military Academy, Lexington, before retiring in 1974.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Minonk, the Masonic Lodge in Augusta, Lexington Country Club, the American Association of Retired Persons and the Illinois Retired Teachers Association. Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Memorial Fund. Bernice Decker PONTIAC Bernice Decker, 81, a resident of Livingston Manor, died there at 5:10 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 13, 1984).

She was taken to Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home. Kenneth L. Johnson PONTIAC The funeral of Kenneth L. Johnson, 72, of 310 Vermillion Estates, who died Thursday (Oct.

11, 1984), will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Raleigh J. Harris Funeral Home. The Rev. Ronald Conway of the Assembly of God, Pontiac, will officiate.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born May 18, 1912, at Charleston, a son of Clarence and Dessie McWhorter Johnson. He married Maxine Langhoff at Chicago Sept.

1, 1934. She survives. Also surviving are five daughters, Irene Martin, Plainfield; Donna Johnson and Kathy Compton, both of Pontiac; and Maxine Shavez and Beverly Evans, both of Smithville, a son, Kenneth L. Joliet; his father, Saunemin; two brothers, Leslie Pontiac, and Eddie Georgia; three sisters, Cleo Smyth, Saunemin; Sadie Enfield, Wheaton; and Irene Baird, Normal; and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, a daughter, two sons, a brother and two sisters.

Mr. Johnson was educated in rural Odell schools. He was a painter in Pontiac for 32 years before retiring and was a lifetime member of Painters Union Local 33. He was a member of Pontiac Assembly of God, to which memorials may be Joseph H. Hahn CULLOM Joseph H.

Hahn, 83, of 415 E. Hack St. died at 7:55 a.m. yesterday (Oct. 13, 1984) at St.

James Hospital, Pontiac. He had been ill. His funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Cullom, the Rev.

Thomas Maloney officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Stewart Funeral Home, with the rosary recited at 8 p.m.

He was born Oct. 4, 1901, at rural Cullom, a son of John and Anna Koerner Hahn. He married Mabel E. Algoe Oct. 23, 1926, at Pontiac.

She died Sept. 23, 1979. Surviving are a son, Joseph Cullom; a daughter, A. Marlene Keip, Rockford; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, two great grandchildren, five brothers and four sisters.

Mr. Hahn was educated in Cullom schools. He was employed by Fred Kingdon's Implements, Cullom, for many years. He had owned and operated Hahn's Service Station since 1941. He was a former Village Board member, and had served with the Cullom Volunteer Fire Department for many years.

He also was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and Modern Woodsmen of America. Memorials may be made to Friends of the Cullom Library or to the American Heart Association. BLOOMINGTON NORMAL Lottie Albrecht The funeral of Lottie Albrecht, 86, of 509 N. Adelaide Normal, who died Friday (Oct.

12, 1984), will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Grace Church, Highland, the Rev. Van Nevel officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 tonight at Fagen-Miller Funeral Home, Highland. Metzler Memorial Home is in charge of local arrangements.

She was born April 18, 1898, in Chicago, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Lewandowski. She married Chester Albrecht Feb. 24, 1919, in Chicago.

He died Feb. 11, 1959. She is survived by a son, Richard, R.R. 3, Bloomington; a daughter, Sylvia Kress, Oak Lawn; a sister, Frances Pieron, Calumet City; nine grandchildren; and four greatgrandchildren. Mrs.

Albrecht had been a Normal resident for four years. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Mildred D. Stevenson Mildred Dorothy Stevenson, 82, of 301 S. Kreitzer Bloomington, died at 10:26 a.m.

yesterday (Oct. 13, 1984) at her residence. Her graveside funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cottage Hill Cemetery, Brazil, Ind. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m.

Monday at Metzler Memorial Home. She was born July 25, 1902, at Clay County, a daughter of Charles and Bertha McCollough Clift. She married Robert H. Stevenson Jan. 31, 1931, at Greencastle, Ind.

He died July 4, 1971. Surviving are a son, R. Hugh, 301 S. Kreitzer Bloomington; two sisters, Beatrice Humphrey, Indianapolis, and Martha Earley, Brazil, and four grandchildren. Two brothers preceded her in death.

Mrs. Stevenson was a member of Second Presbyterian Church and the Bloomington Emblem Club. She retired Aug. 1, 1967, as an accountant for State Farm Ins. Cos.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Halloween Bellflower Trick-or-treat hours in Bellflower will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Oct. 31. People may call Marcia Shelton, village clerk, for more information.
