Welter of the local Internal Revenue office, has advised that the Algona office will be open on the following days Every Monday from January 9 through April 16, and on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from January 23, through February 15, and from April 2 through April 16. A meeting of township field- men was held in the courthouse Jen. 4, and a meeting for town assessors will be held Friday, Jen. 6, 3* the courthouse, County Assessor Leg Immerfall said. One new aspect of state taxing law is that all veterans must apply each year for military exemptions, and such applications must be made at the assessor's office.
