2 EXPOSITOR SATURDAY, FEBRUARY Announcements D'AMBROSI LAMA Sandro and Maria thank God for the safe arrival of their second child, Luke Michael-Anthony, born January 28, 2002, weighing 6 11- ozs. A precious baby brother for Daniela. A new grandson to pamper for Giuseppe and Francesca D'Ambrosi and Sisto and Vincenza Lama. Proud are Giacomo Ferraccioli, Assunta D'Ambrosi, Clelia Rossi and Antonina Lama. Looking down from Heaven are great-grandparents Maria Ferraccioli, Sebastian D'Ambrosi and Giovanni Lama.

Luke's arrival is greeted with much excitement by many aunts, uncles and cousins including Hugo, Piera, Milanna, Bianca and Maraya DeGrandis and David, Angie, Rachele and Marisa a Benjamin. Deaths CARROLL Peter Henry Peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 1, 2002, Peter Carroll, in his 57th year; beloved husband of Pat for 34 years; loving father of Lerryn and her husband Dave Fennell, and Heather Carroll; devoted grandfather of "Little a Peter is also survived by his father Norman and predeceased by his mother Bernice; survived by mother and father-in-law Claire and Beverly Martin; dear brother of Steve his wife Valerie, Christine, and Michael and his wife Dawn.

Peter will be dearly missed by many other family and friends. Before recently retiring from the Grand Erie District School Board, Peter was a high school teacher for 29 years. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, curling and his many visits to Home Depot. Friends will be received at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m.

A private family memorial service will take place on Tuesday with Reverend Tanya Phibbs officiating. Cremation has taken place. CARTER Margaret Isabelle "Peggy" (nee Bish) On Friday, February 1, 2002 at the Brantford General Hospital, following a brief illness; with sorrow the family of Marg announces the passing of a dear wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Marg was born in Berlin (Kitchener), Ontario on September 16, 1912.

She is survived by her adoring husband of 63 years, Ralph H. (Nick) Carter; her three sons, Robin (Nancy), Rick (Michele), Ken (Diane); nine grandchildren, Karen, Mark (Lori), Kathryn (Ryan), Sandy (Todd), Cherie (Tim), Niki (Dan), Lindsay (John), Bethany and Matthew, and four are Thomas, Sydney, Emily and Carter; also survived by her brother Ken Bish of Norwich; predeceased by her parents Philip and Agnes and a sister Olive. Marg was a devoted member of Alexandra Presbyterian Church for over 80 years and taught Sunday School at Alexandra for over 30 years. Marg was a gentle and caring person who celebrated the love of her family and friends. She loved to play the organ and she and Nick travelled to many countries throughout the world.

COLLIER Marjory Mary At the Brantford General Hospital on Thursday January 30, 2002, after a full life of 91 years, Marjory Mary Collier (nee Addis); beloved wife of the late Herbert J. Collier; much loved mother of Kenneth Robert and his wife Marilyn of London, Karen Lind and her husband Dr. John Lind of Brantford, and the late Joan Anne McEllistrum; also loved by grandchildren Gary Collier, Debbie McEllistrum, John, Katherine and Susan Lind; and great-grandson David Collier; predeceased by sisters and brothers. After a lengthy battle at the Willett Hospital, Paris on Thursday, January 31, 2002, in his 77th year, Steven; husband of Vera (nee Johnson); brother of Julia (Beke) of Brantford, John of Forest, Mary (Sebestyen) of Belle River, and Anne (Noe) of Brantford; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Steve served in the Second World War in the Army Provost in and around Apeldoorn and Nijmegen (Holland). After his return, he spent over 35 years at the Brantford Expositor. YOUNG Donald T. Passed away suddenly on January 31, 2002 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, formerly of Brant County; father of Barbara Bollman and Joanne Boudens, both of Maple Ridge; grandfather of Naomi, Nicholas, and Emily; brother to Norman and Doug of Brantford. Donald was a member of the Brantford Police Department from 1955 to 1972. Cremation has taken place. No funeral by request.
