House wants tryout before going on TV WASHINGTON (AP) The House of Representatives wants to watch itself on television for three months before it decides whether the American public should be allowed to tune in. House Speaker Thomas P. O'Neill, says House proceedings will be piped by a closed-circuit system to parts of the Capitol and House office buildings for a 90-day test.

The experiment "will form the basis the eventual video coverage of the House for dissemination to the public," he said Wednesday. O'Neill revealed a brief test of the system was made on Tuesday, with black and white, pictures received on television sets in the Capitol and Ray-burn House Office Building. Two other office buildings where House members work are not yet equipped to receive the transmission, the speaker said. O'Neill said it is "most important the House maintain control of the evolution" this process to assure that any disturbance to the nature and character of the House proceedings be minimized." finishes jl VINYL anti-foulina BOTTOM PAINT 3548 BRIGHT RED All types of BOAT FINISHES at Don Smith Paint Corner of Main and Locust I rotting takM to wttar tttt 11:30 a.m.-Racers, chs 3,31 Films: NASCAR Western Division stockcar race on Puyallup, Wash, motocross on 31. 12 noon Challenge of Sexes, chs 2,3,31 Young, Geiberger play golf Lederstrom, Kenyon race midget cars.
