centre-back at the waistline A blue gray crepe frock featured a pleated peplum falling to a fishtail in back and a fitted waist length jacket removable to create bare shoulder sundress or dancing frock A burnt orange coat was outstanding Its large stand-up collar was tied with a wide velvet bow in dark brown Fur coats in gray lamb and muskrat were most popular in three-quarter length Fur neckpieces accented many costumes Hats were feminine and very pretty In pique straw and lace they were used in matching or boldly contrasting shades White shoes plain colored shades and multi-colored
