Segal, who has made many talk show appearances, has never before worked for television and has never written a television script prior to this profile of the greatest miler in history.

Segal, too, is a runner, though not in the world class of Ryun. He has run in the Boston Marathon many times and turned in some excellent times. It is Segal's love of track that induced him to become involved in the Jim Ryun portrait. To retain his amateur status track, Segal will receive no payment for his script nor for his part in the program. In August, 1967, Segal was writing the script for "The Yellow Submarine," the popular firm starring the Beatles.

A clause in his contract provided that he remain in his hotel room in London and work on tle script. He was permitted to leave only one hour a day to Jog in Hyde Park. On one of his jaunts, he looked up to see the world record holder, Ryun, ning in the opposite direction. Segal asked to join Ryun during his training run and the two men became friends. Taylor, Burton fo star in TV movies Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton will star next season in their first motion pictures for television in two productions of the ABC Television Network's "Movie of the Week" and "Movie of the Weekend," it was announced today by Martin Starger, Vice President In Charge of Programming for the Network. The film vehicles for the world's most famous acting couple are two separate but related dramas which probe the dissolution of a marriage. Titled "Divorce His" and "Divorce Hers," the films will be aired during the same week as a "Movie of the Week" and a "Movie of the Weekend." The screenplays, both of John Hopkins, will view the matrimonial breakup through the eyes of each of the divorced parties, with Mr. Burton starring in "Divorce His," and Miss Taylor starring in "Divorce Hers." Each will have a minor role in the other's starring vehicle. The films, to be produced by John Heyman, will begin production in Longon in August.
