The Lone Rock girls took the opener, 57 30, while Burt, on a last-second basket by Jerry Carman, took the boys ,game, 55-54. The gifts game was settled early as Lone Rock zipped to a 25-5 lead in the first period Bierstedt notched 22 points, M. Marlow 17 and V. Marlow 14 for Lone Rock, while Johnson got 12 and Dremmel ten for Burt. The finale was a dandy. Lone Rock blasted off to a 10-3 first period edge, and was in front, 2217, at the half and 38-36 at the three quarter mark. Garman, who punched in 20 points for Burt, wrapped it'up with his 10th bucket. Smidt added 14 and Bait 12 to Burl's total, while John Cotton got 20, Ramus 14 and Householder 12 foi- Lone flock.
