She was a patient iri Mercy hospital in Fort Dodge, but is now home. Mrs Robert Gronbach and Mrs Dolores Christensen attended a, shower at Mrs Loren Bell's home in Algona Sun. afternoon in honor of Jean»Bulgeman, who married Jerry Slifcy at St. Cecelia's Church in Algona, Dec. 17. Mr and Mrs James Lempke attended a Lempkii' -family Christ-: mas dinner Sunday at the home of Mrs Bill Wagner* in Vincent, Mrs Elwood Rummens went to Rochester, Minn. Thursday for a- check-up. Mrs John Frederick is ill at her home suffering with a heart attack. Nurse Margaret Malin is caring for her. The, Christinas program at the Methodis't Church was held Sunday evening Dec. 18. Richard Falb entertained the Youth Fellowship of the Methodist Church at his home Sunday evening. A seven o'clock luncheon was served by Mrs Falb. The Contract Club was entertained at the home of Lena Altman Saturday afternoon. Mr and Mrs Harold Hunt of Algona were' Monday dinner guests at her parents, Mr and Mrs James Hughes.
